Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Sunday afternoon? Mom is writing to you now because tonight I will be watching the Super Bowl....that is right it is Super Bowl 51 & it is the Patriots vs the Falcons. It is going to be a really good game for sure. Mark is rooting for the Falcons & Mom is of course rooting for the Patriots. I have my red & blue on just for you! Hope they win again but either way it will be a really close game....a nail biter for sure!
I am sorry that I did not write to you last night but Uncle Chris & Lacie were here for a visit. They arrived around noon yesterday & they left around noon today because Lacie has to work at 5 pm tonight. Mark & Mom had so much fun with them. We hung out here for a bit so they could relax after the traveling & then we went to a sports bar & had dinner & drinks....it was a new place we had never been to...it was pretty good. We were there for about 2 hours & then after we hit the mall so that Uncle Chris could get a Patriots jersey for today. We walked around the mall for a bit & got back home around 7:30 pm. We fed the pups & then played a game called " That's What She Said. " That was so much fun... Mom laughed a lot. It felt good to laugh. I am sure you were smiling seeing Mom have a good time. We finished the game & got things ready for bed time & called it a night around 11:30 pm or so. I think we were all just so tired from the day....we slept in until 9 am this morning & Mom got up & cooked everyone a big breakfast.....Bacon, Eggs, Toast, etc.... Got that all done & did the dishes & then visited with Uncle Chris & Lacie for a couple hours & then they had to go. Mom had a good talk with Uncle Chris. It was nice. Been a long time... we both got a little teary eyed while we talked about you. I am sure you saw it. He sure did love you. So many loved you but not as much as Mom still does. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. To infinity & beyond.
Mom really has no updates for you as this weekend flew by & Mom did not talk to anyone on the phone. I did talk to Meme on Friday & I hope she is feeling better. I will give her a quick call later today & then we have our skpye call set for this evening as well with Tubal & Karen. Hopefully this week I will have updates on our family for you. This whole week was pretty quiet for that. Guess it was a busy week for all. Mom knows this week will be very busy for Mark & I will be studying plus I guess we are going to be getting some pretty nasty weather during the middle of the week. Maybe a pretty good storm with a heavy amount of snow. We shall have to wait & see on that.
I do have a couple daily prayers for you so here they are: February 4~ This God---his way is perfect; the promise of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all who take refuge in him.Great God, I praise & honor you for keeping your promises. You have said that you would be with us always & that you would give us life & peace & protect us from harm. You have acknowledged that tough times would come but you have promised to meet us there, to share your bountiful resources with us, to help us through the crises & to be our refuge. Thank you, Lord, for being with us. Often the Lord has to protect us from our own crazy schemes. We might think we know where we're going & how to get there but he has a better idea. Amen.
February 5~ Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds----his name is the Lord----be exultant before him. Dear Lord, today I lift up my heart & voice to praise you. You are a great God. I am privileged to be called your child. In the midst of my daily challenges, I consider that fact----that I am your child----and I rejoice in it. It's fun to imagine you, as the psalmist says, " riding upon the clouds. " I know that's a reference to your greatness, your power over all creation, but could I see it in a more literal way? You see, my days aren't always bright & sunny. There are frequent " clouds " of disappointment & struggle. Yet I find that in these times when I need you most, you ride in to help me. You are the Lord not only in the sunshine but also on cloud days. My brother & sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance & let endurance have its full effect so that you may be mature & complete, lacking in nothing. Amen.
Ok... Mom is all caught up again. This day has just flown right by. It is already after 3 pm & Mom will have to be going to start prepping the game day foods for Mark & I. We are having homemade meatball subs, cheese, crackers, pepperoni, chips, dip & salsa & a huge whoopie pie with ice cream for dessert. Good stuff. Mom needs to go make the meatballs though as it takes about 20 minutes to prep & 1 hour to bake in the over. This way everything will be ready for kick off at 6:25 pm.
Mom hopes that you will have a wonderful night doing all the things you want & need to do. Have fun while I sleep tonight or at least hope to sleep. Last night was tough for me. Come be with me or visit me in my dreams. I miss you & love seeing you in them. Thanks my sweet precious son. I will look to the sky later & whisper to you. I will smile & hope that you will smile as well. I wish you a good night & the sweetest of dreams. Until tomorrow..... fly high & free & watch over us all. Thank you. You will always be my hero & the wind beneath my wings. You will forever live in my heart, mind, body & soul. I love you unconditional.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Friday evening? Mom is sorry that she did not write to you last night but I was caught up in doing so many other things for our company this weekend & getting dinner done that by the time I was able to I was just so exhausted. Today, Mom has been just as busy with prepping the apartment for Uncle Chris... I did dusting, vacuuming, cleaned both bathrooms, did the trash & the rest of the day I did my next class. I actually just finished & it is 5:45 pm. I am needing to get stuff set for dinner but I wanted to write to you first. Today is Meme's birthday & it's also Ms. Princess' birthday as well. Make sure to go visit Meme as she would really love to see you...just don't scare her...lol! Mom sent flowers to Meme's work but got a call saying that she was out sick. I called her & she is definitely sick. She sounded terrible. She has been sick since Sunday night. She has been resting & that is why I haven't heard from her. She will get her flowers on Monday when she returns. They are her favorite...Carnations....pastel colors..... White, yellow, green, purple, pink, & peach. She will love them & it will brighten her day for sure. Ms. Princess has gotten lots of loves & treats today too. She will get some yummy yogurt & bananas later tonight for a special treat. mark worked a lot today & all this week. He has a very busy schedule all next week as well. He won't be home much so I will be alone a lot of the time. Guess it goes with the job & I need to get more used to it. I will be studying most of the time anyways so I will have something to keep me busy. Not much else is going on for updates. It has been pretty quiet as far as the telephone goes. Oh yeah...Bean called last night. I was so surprised & happy. It made Mom smile. I sure miss that girl. I can't believe that it has been almost 2 years since I have seen her. She is doing great though. She sounded happy. She went today & got another tattoo. She posted a picture of it. It is really nice. I bet you were with her when she was getting it, huh? It wouldn't surprise Mom at all as you 2 were very close. Anyways.....
here are you daily prayers that I need to get caught up on for you: February 2~ Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens , your faithfulness to the clouds. Dear Lord, I rest in your steadfast love. It often overwhelms me how much you love me, even when I prove unlovable. Yet all my limits are met by your infinite commitment.  can not fathom the extent of our love. On a clear night I gaze at starlight that began its journey thousands of years ago. Your love out-distances that. The sun sits 93 million miles off 7 gives me warmth, but your love warms me even more. And even on a cloudy day I can imagine the showers of blessing you're storing up for me. Thank you so much, Lord, for your amazing love. If you go outside today & see your shadows, you have 6 more weeks of opportunities to praise God for this winter season. Amen.
February 3~ He gives you snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes. He hurls down hail like crumbs----who can stand before his cold? He sends out his word & melts them; he makes his wind blow & the waters flow. I'm ready for springtime, Lord. I want to see growth & greenery, days getting longer & breezes bringing warmth. Spring brings newness & winter has me feeling old. But the psalmist reminds me that you are the author of both. With your creative power, you can freeze a stream & melt it. You can send a gale-force wind & you can knit together a snowflake. I stand in wonder, awed by your amazing strength & I ask you to work your wonders in me. Knit my life together with elegance. Melt my frozen streams of thought. Blow powerfully through all I do & say. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow. Amen.
Mom is all caught up again. The evening sky is upon us & I will look to the sky later to see if I see the stars & the moon. I will whisper to you as I always do. Smile when you hear my voice & I will smile back to you. I miss you so much my sweet precious son. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. To infinity & beyond. You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. You will forever live inside my heart, mind, body & soul. Please always feel this in your soul, Tyler. Mom hopes that you have a peaceful & restful night doing all the things you would like to do & may need to do. Have fun while I sleep & come visit me in my dreams. Mom would love that. Thank you. Please continue to watch over us all like I know you do. Fly high & free...do what I know you love to do! Mom needs to go for now though..... until tomorrow.....good night & sweet dreams.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
