Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Sunday afternoon? Mom needs to apologize to you for not writing for a couple of days. To be honest with you, Mom didn’t do anything yesterday at all. I got up, gave the pups their baths, made a brunch, did the clean up, did laundry, and then I literally binge watched all my movies that I had taped. I watched 4 of the. I still have a couple more to go. Mark played his video game all day long. We ate dinner and then we watched tv together. I was in bed at 10:30 pm. Mark stayed up a bit longer. This morning I was up at 6:45 am. I fed the pups and then lounged in bed for an hour. After that, I got up, got ready, made the bed, gathered the trash up, and then we left to go to my last nail appointment. The girls there were so sweet to me. Before I left, they gave Mark and Mom a house warming gift for the new home. They were two pictures....one was of palm trees and they other was of the ocean. So prett and can’t wait to put them up. It was bittersweet. Mom has been going there for 3 years now. I will miss those girls a lot. It was very weird while we were driving there today. I looked around again for the last time. I said to Mark that I was emotional because there is never a reason to come back here because we have no family here at all. For the last 6 years this has been my home and in 1 week, everything is going to change. Mom is excited but starting to get nervous now. Please be with me, Tyler. Mom is going to need you so much. I talk to you all the time about everything so I hope you hear me. It gives me a piece of mind. It is what I need right now. Mom knows that these last couple of days are going to go by so fast. Starting Saturday things are going to be chaos and will continue for the next couple of weeks. Mom is resting up for this. Mark is on vacation starting Friday so that will help me. I chatted with Meme today. She is getting very nervous. One week today, the movers will be at her house and her vehicle will be gone too. A week from tomorrow, the same thing will happen to us. The movers will be here and our vehicles will be leaving as well. We will be staying here on Saturday and Sunday but Monday will be at a hotel for the night and very early Tuesday morning we will be at the airport. Mom is going to try and stay strong for Meme but in my heart I will be a mess. It will be very emotional for me. Mom is going to opt to have WiFi on the plane so I plan on writing to you while flying to Florida. I am sure somehow you will be flying with me. Mom also spoke to Grandpa last night. Him and Debbie are doing well. They are staying busy and enjoying their retirement. It will be nice to see them next week but Mom knows that I won’t see them again for another 6 months and that is hard on me. I wish they were coming with us. Please watch over them for me. Thank you so much my sweet precious son. Uncle Dick is out of the hospital but he is not home. He is in a rehab for a period of time. Not sure how long. He looks thin, pasty white, and sad. I hope he gets better soon so he can go home. Mom is praying like crazy. That is all the updates that I have for you today. I will have moreall thiugh the week as this will be the last week I have to chat with anyone.
It is already 4:06pm and Mom needs to be prepping our dinner. We are watching football 🏈 right now. Patriots are winning their game. They are 5-0 now, undefeated. Cowboys play next. Hoping they win too! After dinner, we are just going to relax and watch a new tv show..... then it will be time for bed because tomorrow is Monday. Mom will be sure to whisper to you later tonight so smile for me and I will smile back to you. I will be lighting a new candle 🕯 for you tonight. I will burn this one all week long and this will be the last though. I packed the other 3. The next one will be burning in our new home. I will write to you again tomorrow. Have fun tonight while Mom is sleeping. Come visit me in my dreams tonight if you can. I miss you so much. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. Until tomorrow comes.... good night and sweet dreams, pumpkin.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah 🖤
These are my letters to Tyler. They are the conversations that we would have on a daily basis. We can't do that any more. In some small way, this is my tribute to my son and probably my way of healing. Every night we would talk about everything. I can still do that, and I know he's listening.

Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this rainy and cold Thursday afternoon? It is already going on 4:37 pm and quite frankly Mom is just having another one of those off days again. I was up at 7:30 am and I just can't get motivated to do anything. I feel bad because it looks like Mom is just being lazy when Mark has been up and working since 7 am but that is not it at all. I think all these last few months and days with caring for Mark and doing all the prep work for the move. packing, etc... has really gotten to me. I know the weather is not helping at all. My office seems to be getting smaller and smaller. I haven't been able to look out my window for almost 2 months now. The boxes are everywhere now as well. Mom doesn't spend a lot of time in here anymore because of it. It wasn't an issue until recently. It is really getting to Mom now. I am feeling a bit claustrophobic. Anyways... Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for Mom all around. It is Friday after all.
This weekend is going to be very busy for Mark and Mom. Saturday we are finally going to get everything out of the garage. That will be a half a day right there. Then we will have to go run errands and then back home to relax and unwind. Sunday will be a day for Mom to go get her nails done for the last time. I sure will miss those girls at the Salon. Mom has been going there for 3 years now. I am comfortable when going there now. I will have to try and find a new place in Florida. I am definitely not looking forward to that at all.
Mom just got off the phone with Meme. She was telling me that Aunt Beck stopped over to visit with her for a couple hours. I thought that was wonderful. Meme got to see her and Brandy before we move. Mom hasn't seen either one of them in almost 5 years and even then only 3 times in 9 years. It is sad but that is just the way it goes I guess. We all live in different states and we are 3-4 hours apart in either direction. Life is busy and things come up. I guess I am just thankful for phones so that we can talk. Mom thinks there will be a lot of skying with everyone once we move. That will help us. Lots of people have said that they will be coming to visit us but Mark and Mom have heard that before and it just is not true. No one came to visit us in Texas for the 2 years we were there and no one has come to visit us here except Meme, Bob, Grandpa and Debbie. Our "friends" haven't been here in over 3 years. Again, that is sad but to Mom actions speak louder than words. Everyone is busy and they have their lives but when they make time to travel with others and it never involves you then that speaks volumes to Mom. It is a hard pill to swallow but that is reality! Mom has definitely learned who her true friends are after these last 8 years and I can tell you I don't have hardly any......
It is now almost 6 pm. The pups have been fed but Mark and Mom have not ate yet. I need to get going and start the night routine for us. Mom has lost track of time today with being on the phone all day long. I will update you on that tomorrow. No new news on Uncle Dick. Maybe tomorrow though. I have your candle lit and I will whisper to you later this evening. Have fun doing on the things you need to do and want to do my sweet precious son. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. I miss you and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Until tomorrow comes...good night and sweet dreams later.

Here is the prayer for the day:
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18–19, NIV
Lord our God, our Father in heaven, we come to you as your children. Bless us, we pray. Bless us especially in days when fear tries to take hold of us. Let your help come down to us as you have promised, the great help in Jesus Christ, who shall come to redeem the whole world. Bless us through your Word. Renew us again and again to stand firm and true to you, for you are our help for redemption and reconciliation through Jesus Christ. Amen.
