Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this rainy and cold Thursday afternoon? It is already going on 4:37 pm and quite frankly Mom is just having another one of those off days again. I was up at 7:30 am and I just can't get motivated to do anything. I feel bad because it looks like Mom is just being lazy when Mark has been up and working since 7 am but that is not it at all. I think all these last few months and days with caring for Mark and doing all the prep work for the move. packing, etc... has really gotten to me. I know the weather is not helping at all. My office seems to be getting smaller and smaller. I haven't been able to look out my window for almost 2 months now. The boxes are everywhere now as well. Mom doesn't spend a lot of time in here anymore because of it. It wasn't an issue until recently. It is really getting to Mom now. I am feeling a bit claustrophobic. Anyways... Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for Mom all around. It is Friday after all.
This weekend is going to be very busy for Mark and Mom. Saturday we are finally going to get everything out of the garage. That will be a half a day right there. Then we will have to go run errands and then back home to relax and unwind. Sunday will be a day for Mom to go get her nails done for the last time. I sure will miss those girls at the Salon. Mom has been going there for 3 years now. I am comfortable when going there now. I will have to try and find a new place in Florida. I am definitely not looking forward to that at all.
Mom just got off the phone with Meme. She was telling me that Aunt Beck stopped over to visit with her for a couple hours. I thought that was wonderful. Meme got to see her and Brandy before we move. Mom hasn't seen either one of them in almost 5 years and even then only 3 times in 9 years. It is sad but that is just the way it goes I guess. We all live in different states and we are 3-4 hours apart in either direction. Life is busy and things come up. I guess I am just thankful for phones so that we can talk. Mom thinks there will be a lot of skying with everyone once we move. That will help us. Lots of people have said that they will be coming to visit us but Mark and Mom have heard that before and it just is not true. No one came to visit us in Texas for the 2 years we were there and no one has come to visit us here except Meme, Bob, Grandpa and Debbie. Our "friends" haven't been here in over 3 years. Again, that is sad but to Mom actions speak louder than words. Everyone is busy and they have their lives but when they make time to travel with others and it never involves you then that speaks volumes to Mom. It is a hard pill to swallow but that is reality! Mom has definitely learned who her true friends are after these last 8 years and I can tell you I don't have hardly any......
It is now almost 6 pm. The pups have been fed but Mark and Mom have not ate yet. I need to get going and start the night routine for us. Mom has lost track of time today with being on the phone all day long. I will update you on that tomorrow. No new news on Uncle Dick. Maybe tomorrow though. I have your candle lit and I will whisper to you later this evening. Have fun doing on the things you need to do and want to do my sweet precious son. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. I miss you and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Until tomorrow comes...good night and sweet dreams later.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer for the day:

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18–19, NIV
Lord our God, our Father in heaven, we come to you as your children. Bless us, we pray. Bless us especially in days when fear tries to take hold of us. Let your help come down to us as you have promised, the great help in Jesus Christ, who shall come to redeem the whole world. Bless us through your Word. Renew us again and again to stand firm and true to you, for you are our help for redemption and reconciliation through Jesus Christ. Amen.
