Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Wednesday evening? You guessed it... Mom lost track of time again and it is already 5 pm. In my defense I have literally been studying all day long. I was up at 6:45 am, Mark fed the pups and I lingered in bed for a very short time. I was up, making the bed, getting ready by 9:15 am. I was finished with everything by 10 am and I made something to eat and then came right in and started to study. I took a few short breaks throughout the day but not long ones at all. Mom managed to finish up her Lesson 8 with all my notes and I took the exam at the end. I received a 95 on it. I am still sitting at a 96 % with a GPA of 4.0. Mom is now 50% done with the course. I am learning a lot and I still find it fun and very informative even though I have writers cramp...lol. Mom hasn't had to take notes like this since her days in school and that was many years ago! It is all good though as I will be able to reference all of it when I start doing this for a job. I will continue to update you on this as soon as I do the lessons and the exams. Thank you for being with me through it all again. It means the world to Mom.
Meme called earlier today to tell me about Bob's appointment. Things seemed to be pretty good and the doctors were actually pleased with his vital signs and such. They did discuss briefly about another procedure they might like to do but before they decide on it they really need to look at it and research it more. I chatted with her last night as well but she was just so angry at the world. She was upset at some lady and instead of leaving it there, she took that anger with everything. I told her to stop it and she couldn't do that anymore. We got off the phone pretty quickly after that. She was in a much better mood today! Mom also spoke to Grandpa. Things are good on their end. He is working a lot and going to different meetings during the week. He is definitely staying busy. They are all looking forward to coming next weekend for 3 days. We will have fun as usual. Mom will write to you Friday morning before they all get here and then I won't be able to write to you on Saturday as we are leaving very early in the morning and getting home late at night but I will return on Sunday afternoon when they all leave to go home. Mom just wanted you to know that before I forget to say anything. Meme said that Aunt Beck and John are on there way home from North Carolina. They will be back over the weekend. I haven't heard anything from her but they are fine and enjoyed their trip for the last 5 weeks. I will touch base with her next week. I will give them time to relax and unwind from their time away. Still nothing from Bean. I don't know what to do. I have messaged her a few times and no response so I will just let it go for a bit and see. Mark is crazy busy with work as usual and just got another new customer today. He will be very busy with this one and Mom is thankful that there are no cutovers for them and also they are about an hour away. He has lots of travel but it will be during the day so all is well with that! Mom will be busy studying as usual so my days will be busy too! That is all that I have for updates for you today. I will let you know as they all come in.
Mom has the candle already lit for you tonight. I whispered to you already so I hope you heard me. I will whisper to you again tonight as well so smile when you hear me and I will smile back to you. Have fun while Mom gets some sleep tonight. Come sit next to me or visit me in my dreams if you can. Thank you my sweet precious son. I sure do love you with all my heart and soul. To the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Mom needs to get going for now as it is well after 5 pm and the pups need to be fed and I need to finish prepping for our dinner as well. Mark is still on the phone so it is left up to me tonight. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you though so until then.... good night and sweet dreams. Continue to help us with everything we need to do for this upcoming move. Please watch over all of us as well. Thank you so much pumpkin! Thank you for being my bright shining star that lights my path. I miss you so much.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is today's prayer:
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble...The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalm 46:1, 7, RSV
Lord, Almighty God of heaven and earth, grant that we may come to you as your children. For you have chosen us through the gospel, and Jesus Christ has obtained mercy for us so that in you we have a refuge in disturbed and evil times. We turn to your Word, Lord God, rejoicing that again and again the whole of Christendom is led back to your Word. Strengthen all those who serve your Word, who look to you and to the grace of Jesus Christ. Grant that everywhere we may have hope and joy in the redemption you will bring in every situation, also in our ordinary practical life. Grant that through this redemption the earth may proclaim your praise and honor your name, your kingdom may come, and your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.
