Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? Mom is doing okay today. I was up bright & early this morning & was able to capture the beautiful painting in the sky. Mom took pictures so I will share a couple with you on today's letter. It was breathtaking at some points. Guess there is an advantage to getting up at the a** crack of dawn...lol! Mom fed the pups, made coffee for Mark even before he was out of bed. I don't think he was feeling all that great this morning so I let him just sleep until 8 am before he had to get ready for work. Mark had to go to a new client site today for a design meeting. He will be home around 5 pm or so. That is is an hour. Today, Mom got ready, took the pups for a walk ( Princess ' feet were so cold because of the snow she had to come in early while Ozzy & I went for our usual walk. ) & then came right into my office & started to do my school work. I was able to look things over where I left off a month ago & I went right into it. I wrote out one of my paragraphs for one of my questions & then I was able to do 2 complete power points that were for other questions on my exam. The exam is done now & I just want to review it all tomorrow & then submit it & move on. I was pretty proud of myself . I was able to remember quite a bit about the power points that I had in a course several months ago. It really felt good to start studying again! I am going to just have a better attitude towards my school work from here on in.
Tonight Mom did things a little differently as earlier when I was writing to you the phone rang & it was a friend of mine. She chatted for longer than what I intended to so during our chat Mom fed the pups & then made dinner for Mark & I. I got off the phone in time to serve dinner & eat it & then did the dishes & now after 2 hours of all that I am finally back to finish up my letter to you. I must say that I am a little tired this evening. After Mom gets done writing I am going to put on jammies & watch TV for a bit & then probably go to bed early as I need to get sleep so that I can get up early again & study all day long!
Mom really doesn't have any new updates for you as I didn't chat with anyone other than my friend today. Grandpa did call last night & we spoke for about 30 minutes. He is doing well & finally got a doctors note stating he can only work 5 hrs a day from here on in. Mom was super happy to hear that as he was suppose to be doing that since November. He is finally listening to the doctors & his work is finally listening to him. Mom will touch base with everyone in the next few days so I will be sure to have more news for you.
Here are a couple sayings for the day for you:
" The older you get, the more quiet you become. Life humbles you so deeply as you age. You realize how much nonsense you've wasted time on. "
" Sometimes, you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been to stand back up taller than you ever were. "
Mom hopes that tonight will bring you peace, love & happiness. may you do all the things you are suppose to do & also get to do things you may like to do as well. Have fun while Mom sleeps. Come visit me if you can. Thank you my sweet precious son. I miss you like crazy & love you more than all the stars in the sky. To the moon & back & all the way around the world. Forever my hero & the wind beneath my wings you will be to Mom. Forever you live on in my heart, mind, body & soul. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. Listen out for me when I whisper to you later this evening. Smile & Mom will smile back to you. Good night & sweet dreams, Tyler. With all my love.....
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here are the prayers for today:
Speak this one over yourself: "I am loved, called, and chosen. I am rich in every way and generous on every occasion. I am anointed, appointed, equipped and enabled by the power of God that works mightily within me! No weapon formed against me will prosper and no enemy scheme against me will succeed. I live, breathe, and serve powerfully under the shelter of the Most High God!" Have a great day!
May God orchestrate your life, arrange your circumstances, and direct you toward healing and wholeness. May He show you what you need in this season of life. (Rest? Deeper Friendships? A Mentor? A Better Diet? Exercise?) May He motivate and inspire you to take the necessary next steps. May you look to Him to guide and provide, to correct and redirect. Jesus cares about your life, your health, and your sense of well-being. He has wisdom for your todays and tomorrows. Trust Him. Follow Him. He will restore and replenish you. Have a restful night.
