Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? Mom again has been busy all day long and mark has as well. We both were up at 7 am this morning. He was feeding the pups for me and he made his own coffee as well. That was a huge help for me. I lounged in bed for a bit so that I could wake up and then Mark left to run all the errands that he needed to do....go to the bank, get my vehicle washed, gassed up and inspected while Mom stayed at home so that I could get ready, and I also dusted, mopped the floors and then vacuumed them. mark got home just as I was about to vacuum. I finished all the housework and then grabbed something to eat, did those dishes and then I hopped on the computer to do grocery shopping and pay a bunch of bills that needed to be paid. I also got to chat with Bonnie. It has been awhile so it was super nice to hear from her and catch up on things. Now it is going on 3:10 pm and Mom can finally write to you and then get off the computer and prep dinner for this evening. Tonight we are having boiled red potatoes carrots, Mom is having haddock and Mark is having steak and we will also have buttermilk biscuits. It should be a good meal indeed. It will take a bit to cook the carrots and potatoes so Mom needs to start them pretty soon. Anyways....
Mom has a few updates for you today. I spoke to Meme yesterday. Things are the same there. She is happy to be coming down this weekend. It has already been a month since we have seen each other. I spoke to Debbie and Grandpa last night as well. His cat scan went good. He was saying that he literally was in it for less than 3 minutes. I was surprised as they are usually pretty long. I remember when I had them and when you did as well. It seemed like many hours. Guess technology is faster these days...lol! I messaged Aunt Shirley today. She is pretty sick, Tyler. She had her colonoscopy. I guess things still are not good. She was saying that she is having stomach issues. She hasn't been on line that often either. I guess it is really hard for her to see anything anymore. The whole thing is so sad. I told her that I would call her really soon to chat as that is the only way that she can really communicate with anyone. Haven't heard from Aunt Beck so I am not sure where her and John are now. I assume that they are either South now or heading West. Their goal is to go to Arizona and California. I will message her tomorrow to check in. That is all I have for you today. I am sure to have more for you over the next few days.
Boy, it is now 3:41 pm and it is dark as dark can be. It is going to rain very soon. The sky is going to open up and when it does it is going to rain hard. Just hope it is not a thunderstorm. The pups will be so scared and Mom has stuff to do...lol. Mom will be lighting your candle soon and I will whisper to you later this evening. Smile for me and I will smile for you. Have fun tonight while Mom is getting some sleep. Come visit me in my dreams if you have time. Thank you pumpkin. I miss you like crazy and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will always be Mom's hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will live inside my heart, mins, body and soul. I will be back tomorrow afternoon with another letter to you so until then....good night and sweet dreams my bright shining star.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Revelation 3:8, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you that you know us all and that you look deep into our hearts, watching over us in everything we go through, whether easy or difficult. We thank you that we do not stand alone but that you hear the smallest sigh of each of your children. We thank you that darkness must give way to light, distress to joy, and fear to strength and courage. For you lead us through everything; it is what you bring about from your future world, not anything within our sight, that gives us strength and courage and that endures through everything. We thank you from our hearts for your unending gifts, and we are amazed that it was possible for us to receive all this from you. Protect us and keep us childlike, so that we remain in the fellowship that the Lord Jesus has given us, singing praise to him and to the glory and honor of your name. Amen.
