Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Wednesday afternoon? Mom would be lying if I said I was doing good. I am doing okay because I am tired as all heck. Last night did not go as planned for Mom. I wanted to relax all night and then I thought I would get a good night sleep because i ran around all day yesterday but that was not the case. i guess I ate too much or ate too much all at once or something did not agree with me because I was in the bathroom for most of the night and into the morning. I finally got to sleep and then mark and Mom got woken up to Princess shaking and Ozzy too. Come to find out one of the batteries in the smoke detector was low and it kept beeping ready loud. It scared the pups and we needed to change it and then calm them down. That happened at 6 am this morning. I fell back to sleep around 6:45 am until 8 am and then got up to feed the pups and make Mark coffee. Mom went back and laid in bed for about an hour and then was up starting the day. I got ready, made something to eat and then came right in and started studying. I got through 1/2 of the next lesson. It takes time because of all the notes that I have to write. I will get through the rest tomorrow and then probably will be taking the exam as well. That works out because Friday I am going back out to do more Easter shopping and getting stuff we need while Mark is home with the pups. Tomorrow I will be needing to go to get my vehicle inspected and Mark will have a few errands to run as well. It has been a crazy busy couple of weeks and Mom is just starting to get back into the routine of it all again. I will get there. It is just going to take time!
The weather today was so sunny and the skies were blue! The temp was on the colder side though but still no complaints from Mom. Some folks got 5" of snow the other day...ugh! We got a lot of rain and wind. I guess tomorrow will be just like today but Friday night and Saturday it will be rain off and on with high winds and then Sunday, Easter Sunday it will be dry and 65 degrees with sun and clouds. Every day it stays lighter out at night. The sun now goes down around 7:30 pm. It gets light outside in the morning around 6:30 am. I love this time of year! April showers bring May flowers. In less than a month Mom will be having a birthday. I will be 48 years old. With everything going on these last couple of weeks Mom totally forgot about it until someone mentioned it last week. I still have on my computer the last time you wished me a happy birthday. I cherish that so much. I will forever keep it. I miss you beyond words and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are in my heart, mind, body and soul.
Mom is hoping for a much quieter night tonight. I hope that I can sit on the couch and relax a bit. I have a few shows that I want to watch. We plan on having dinner, Mom doing the dishes and then watching tv and later dessert. We have cupcakes and ice cream. Dinner is one of your favorites. It is pepperoni pizza night! You loved it. Mom always thinks of you when we have it. You are always on my mind. I will light your candle in a bit and I will whisper to you later as I always do every night. Smile for me and I will smile for you. I hope you have fun tonight while Mom gets some sleep. Come visit me or sit next to me while I sleep if you can. Thank you my sweet precious son. I will be back tomorrow afternoon with another letter to you after I study. Mark will be gone for part of the day so I will have quiet time to do things in the morning as well. I need to do some housework before everyone gets here in 2 days! Oh yeah... I got a message from Aunt Beck. Yesterday they were in Delaware. Guess they decided to try their road trip again. I wish them the best. I know you are with them and watching over them as well. Please watch over us too. Thank you. Mom will update you on Grandpa's results of his cat scan that he had done this afternoon. Mom will call him later to see how he is doing. Nothing on how things went for Aunt Shirley the other day. I will get in touch with her as well. That is all I have for today. Time to get dinner going and also feed the pups. Until tomorrow comes..... good night and sweet dreams. Thank you for continuing to be my bright shining star that is guiding me to where I need to go and be. I love you, Tyler.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer for the day:

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. Hebrews 4:9-11, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for everything you have done for us, everything we think of when we are quiet for a moment and look back. May all that you have done remain alive in us, so that we can look forward with open, clear-seeing eyes, aware that our lives are in your hands and that you always lead us to something new, great, and glorious. Again and again you will give your Sabbath rest to your people, to all who acknowledge you and whose task is to work for you among the people. Again and again you will bring them your rest, until the coming of the last and glorious Sabbath on which your kingdom can be established. Amen.
