Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday morning? Mom is so sorry that I took the weekend and did things that were needed and Mom never once turned her computer on at all. In some ways it felt great not to but I did feel guilty for not writing to you for those days. Mom got a lot accomplished though. I started to clean out my office again and the living room as well. I was able to pack a few things as well. We are off to a good start. I will be getting some bubble wrap in the next few days so that I can start packing up the breakables in my office and also the fenton glass that we have in the dining room. I want to do a little bit at a time so that there is no rushing involved like last year. We are not taking a lot of the bigger furniture so a lot is just what we need to pack in boxes. Mom is hoping to have less than 50 boxes so that is a goal that I am aiming for. I got rid of a lot of blankets and sheet sets this weekend and a few things from my office and bedroom as well. We had 7 ~ 30 gallon trash bags full. We moved in with a lot move stuff than what we have now. I have a few things in the kitchen to get rid of as well again. Mom just keeps on trucking along. We have exactly 10 weeks from the move and so much to do! We will do it though because well, we have no choice in the matter...lol and also we have so much invested in it at this point. Mom will keep you posted as things progress.
Grandpa and Debbie should have been here by now but there was a mishap along the way and they are running pretty late. They should be here within the hour though. Grandpa was not happy but he will change his tune when they arrive and he is not driving in the traffic. I know he gets really nervous and I don't blame him. I get nervous as well. Drivers here are crazy..lol! Mom spoke to Aunt Shirley last night. She had her eye surgery last week and it didn't do anything. She is legally blind now and her eyes are getting worse. It was sad to hear about it though. Mom told her she would keep in touch better because where things are busy I don't at all and I fault myself for that. Aunt Beck made it to Rome Sunday morning. She is now in Naples. She forgot the time change and called Mom at 4 am to say hello. She chatted for a brief couple minutes and that was it. She sounded very upbeat and happy. She is there for 2 weeks. I will be anxious to hear all about her trip when she gets home. Bob has a doctors appointment this afternoon. Meme will call me later to fill me on things. I will update you on that tomorrow. Everyone else is doing ok. I am sure to have updates for you along the way this week. Mark took today and tomorrow off from work so he has a short week this week which works out great as they still have him traveling to that customer site still. It is not a good match for him. It stresses him out and he is extremely tired every day. Mom is crossing her fingers that he doesn't need to do it after this week though. Please help us out with this if you can my sweet precious son. I love you so much. To the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live in my heart, mind, body and soul. Mom will light your candle later today and I will whisper to you tonight. Have fun during the day and evening. Come visit if you can. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you but for now I need to get going so that I can be ready for when Grandpa and Debbie arrive. They will be hungry so we are going to get something to eat, then we have to go pick a few things up at the grocery store and then we will be back to relax the rest of the day. Until tomorrow comes....good night and sweet dreams. I miss you like crazy, Tyler.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God." John 6:68–69, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we come to you and seek communion with you because we know that all life comes from you, all progress among us depends on you, and our innermost being can be strengthened through your Spirit. Protect us and renew our strength time and again so that your will may be done among us and we may all find courage for our lives, even when many difficulties loom up around us. Grant that we may remain your servants and go joyfully to meet what is to come. Bless us today and every day according to your promises. Amen.
