Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Sunday evening? Mom has had a busy Sunday doing all kinds of things around the apartment. Mom did some moving of things in her office as well. That literally took all day long. I was able to have a couple chats on the phone as well with Bean, Meme & our cousin Andrea. That took about 2 hours long as well. It was good to catch up on how things are going with everyone. Mom & Mark are donating quite a bit of stuff to a friend of Andrea's as she is a single Mom of three children. The apartment that she used to live in burned to the ground a while back & she lost everything. We are giving her a couple chairs, 2 coffee tables, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, a TV stand, TV, computer desk, blankets, pillows, drinking glasses, dinner plates, bowls & a few other small things. Meme is giving her blankets that she made as well for the Mom & her 3 children & a few things for the kitchen as well. The Mom is very grateful for everything & we are all happy to pitch in & help out. Mom knows what it is like to struggle being a single Mom as I did it with you for many years. You never knew all the things I had to go through as Mom never wanted you to worry about a thing. It is tough so anytime I can help out somewhere Mom will. It is giving back. 
 Mom is writing to you late in the evening as I was doing everything earlier. The pups are fed already & Mom was able to order dinner out tonight so I didn't have to cook tonight. We just got in from taking the pups for a walk. It was really busy out there with everyone else walking their pups so we were not out very long. The weather was really nice today & looks like we will be getting great weather all this week. The temps will be in the high 80's so that will be great! Guess all next week we will be getting rain off & on. That is okay. Guess we will be getting the back end of both hurricanes. Florida is getting slammed right now with the Hurricane Irma as of today. It started there early in the morning. Mom is praying that all our family & friends are safe during this. Over a million customers are without power & will be without it for 2-3 weeks they were saying. Mom saw that 2 manatees washed ashore during the rain, wind, rain & looks like both of them did not make it. Mom was so sad to read that as you know how much I love manatees. Weatherman is saying that this hurricane can reach as high as Tennessee & Kentucky not to mention North & South Carolina, Virginia & West Virginia. That is a big hurricane. We have been touching base over the weekend with family & friends in all those areas to make sure they are doing well & are safe. Please watch over them all if you can, Tyler. This weather is horrible & many have lost lives, pets, & everything that that ever owned. It is just like the one that hit Houston, Texas a couple weeks ago. Rumor has it on the weather channel that there is another one coming right after this one. I sure hope not as none of these places can take another hit like they already did. 
 Not much else has been going on this weekend. It has been a pretty relaxing Sunday over all. We were busy but took our time & did all the things we wanted to. A lot was accomplished so that is a good thing. This week will be crazy for Mark for work & will be lonely for Mom. I have school but still.... hope the days go by fast for a change. Be with Momma this week if you can, please. I sure will need you by my side. Thank you my sweet precious son. I appreciate it so much. Mom misses you so much. More than I can ever say. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You have been & always will be my hero & the wind beneath my wings. You are inside my heart, mind, body & soul. Never forget that, please. 
 Mom has something that she found today that I wanted to write on here tonight. I will go back to the prayers tomorrow night though. Here it is:
 She said, " I've learned that whenever I decide to something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that every day you should reach out & touch someone. People have a warm hug or just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn. I've leaned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. " That is so true. What a great saying. So great to Mom that I wanted to share it with everyone who reads my letters to you. 
 Mom wanted to say that last night I saw the beautiful sunset. I whispered to you when I was taking pictures of it. Did you paint that for Grandpa seeings how it was his birthday? It was pretty & it made Mom smile so I hope you saw that. I will whisper to you again this evening so be listening out for my voice. Hope you have a fun night doing everything that you need to & want to do. Come visit Mom if you can. Thanks! 
 Mom is going to get going so that I can put something on my shoulder as it is really hurting me right now. It's better than yesterday but still very sore. Just typing is hurting me so I guess the best thing to do is do nothing & just rest it for the evening. Mom will be back tomorrow night with another letter to you so until then.... good night & sweet dreams my sweet precious son. I love you more than all the stars in the sky. You, Tyler, are Mom's shining star!
