Dear Tyler,
Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? Mom has been busy all day long so I thought that I would write to you now as I have a lot of prep work to do for tonight's dinner. The weather today is partly sunny but boy is it super chilly out there. The temperature is only 58 degrees. It is the coldest day yet so far for this time of the year. The weekend will be back up in the 70's so that will be nice & comfortable! Maybe seeings how the sky is clear & blue, Mom will see the stars & moon shining bright tonight. I will be looking just as I do each & every night while I whisper to you. When you hear Mom's voice tonight, be sure to smile that smile that I love & miss so much. Mom will smile back to you my sweet precious son.
Today... Mom was up early just like I am each & every morning. The pups were fed, coffee was made for Mark & all his goodies were put together so he could head to the office today. After he left, Mom relaxed a bit in bed with the pups, then got up & made breakfast, dusted, did laundry, took a shower & got ready, took the pups for a nice walk & then I was able to make a phone call to one of my friends. We chatted for about 1 1/2 hours as we haven't chatted in a couple weeks. She was suppose to come down here this weekend but she won't be able to as she is going to spend time with her 2 sons & to Mom that is more important. I told her not to worry about it. She rarely sees her 2 sons so this is necessary as she is going in for surgery next Thursday. There will be other times for her to come down this way to visit. My thoughts will be with her though. She is having a tough time these days.
Today is also the day that Debbie went to see the foot specialist. I will call them later tonight to see how she made out & what the doctor said. Hope it is good news. Meme didn't call today during her break so I am sure she will call tomorrow. I did speak to her last night. She called because she was frustrated with her cell phone & her facebook account. I helped her & got it all straightened out for her. She is back up & at it this morning so it worked. She is happy about that. She was telling Mom that Bob's lab work came back high again as well. I hope it goes down soon. I just want them to both be okay. I worry about them so much. I know you watch over us all & Mom prays every day & night. Thank you for all you do. Mom really appreciates it so much, Tyler. Not much else to update you on. Aunt Shirley keeps Mom posted on Great Grammy. She is doing well. She went to BINGO today & really enjoys it. She wins a lot of the time too. She is just so sweet. I sure do love her. She is 96 years young. She loves to have visitors & her coffee. She talks about it all the time. She talks about you too. She misses you very much. We all miss you but no one misses you more than I do. You were my world. You were my everything. Even after 4 1/2 years, Mom is still trying to adjust to this " new " life that I have. I do my best to make the most of it but some days are just so damn hard. I hope that you can see that Mom tries her best. I want you to be proud of me. I was so proud of you when you were here with me & I am still proud of you. I can't see things that you are doing or learning but I know you are excelling at it all. Just thinking about it makes Mom smile. Continue to do all the things you need to do. Just know Mom is smiling & so happy for you, Tyler.
That is all I have for you for today for updates. I will have some for sure on tomorrows letter to you. Here are the daily prayers for the day:
May you begin to see your setbacks as temporary, your delays as detours, and your heartbreaks as opportunities to experience God's precious, powerful healing. And in the meantime, may God give you glimpses of glory, insights into His good plan for you. Be assured that God has never left your side; He’ll never let you go. May God help you see with supernatural insight so that you won't be deceived by the enemy of your soul, or by your past painful filters, or by your fears of the future. In fact, right here--in this place--may your divine perspective hugely inspire your faith steps. You are mighty in God and He is mighty in you.
May you look around and notice all of the answers to prayer you enjoy because of prayers you prayed some time ago. May the breakthroughs you've experienced and the open doors you've walked through, compel you to pray with more fervency, specificity, and tenacity. God loves your faith. He loves your heart. He loves it when you pray. He's very protective of you and won't give you something that's not good for you. He makes you wait because He's making you ready. Trust your whole soul and story to Him. And keep praying. God is moving, even when you can't see it. One day, your faith will become sight. A blessed, beautiful, and prayerful night to you!
Here is the inspirational saying for today as well: " What I think & feel & what I get are always a match. And so, if I want something different than what I've been getting, I have to, somehow, generate different feelings. "
Here is one more: " When you start looking at people's hearts instead of their face, life becomes clear. "
Well, my sweet son, it is already after 4 pm & Mom needs to get things for dinner prepped. Mark is still not home but he will be soon. I would like to eat dinner at a descent time. Tonight will be watching a little TV & then going to bed early as Mark has to get up early again & head to the office for another long day. Mom hopes that your night will be filled with peace, love & joy. Have fun while Mom is sleeping tonight. Come visit me if you can. I love you to the moon & back. You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will be in my heart, mind, body & soul. You are my shining star! I will be back tomorrow with another letter so until then... good night & sweet dreams!
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
