Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Friday evening? Once again Mom is running super late as I did my studying all afternoon. It is 5:20 pm, the pups have been fed & Mom needs to start to prep for dinner but I wanted to write you a quick letter first. Today has gone by lightning fast for me & that is odd as both Mark & I got woken up at 6 am from his phone ringing. It was work. Mom got up with Mark & fed the pups & made him coffee as I watched the sunrise. It was pretty this morning. Then Mom decided to do laundry, get ready, take the pups out for a walk & then got right into studying. Mom stopped at 3:45 pm from that & I had a few things I needed to do so I got those calls & emails done too. Meme called this afternoon. We had a quick chat. Mom also spoke to her last night along with Aunt Beck & Grandpa. Everyone seems to be doing well. No one is ready for this next storm that is coming our way Tuesday night into Wednesday. we are all going to just enjoy the nice cold, dry, sunny weather that we are having right now! Not much else is really going on, Tyler. Mom has had some ups & downs today. I have several friends/family that have Birthdays today & today is also the day that Mom's sweet friend Wendy gained her Angel wings 3 years ago. I miss her. We were really good friends in high school & then we reconnect several years later. I know she is up there with you doing so many wonderful things. She is a bright shining star just like all you are that have left the physical world. Tomorrow is St Patrick's Day. It is a day for celebrating the Irish! We are Irish. Mom's Great Grammy, so your Great Great Great Grammy was full-blooded Irish. It was Great Grammy's Mom. I don't know a lot about her but I would like to someday. Mom will write more about St Patrick's Day to you on tomorrows letter. Mark & Mom will probably go to bed early because we have been up since the crack of dawn today. We both are tired. Tomorrow we are going to go out & have a fun day together & Sunday will be a day to do things around the apartment & relax. A week from today Mark is on vacation & I can't wait. I will probably take most of that week off to spend time with him but I am not sure yet. Other than that nothing really is going on, like I said. I will update you on everything when I get updates.
Mom is hoping that your night will be filled with everything that you need & want. I hope that you get the chance to come visit me or be with me when Mom is sleeping tonight. Have lots of fun flying high & free like I know you do all the time. Mom will whisper to you as I do each & every night so smile when you hear Mom & I will smile back to you. I will light a candle here pretty soon for you & Wendy tonight. Know that when it is burning bright it is for you both. I miss you so much, Tyler. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live inside my heart, mind, body & soul.
Mom needs to get going to get dinner ready for us but I will be back tomorrow with your letter. Until then.... good night & sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here are the prayers: You don’t have to know the whole plan to be okay. You don’t have to have a detailed map to enjoy the journey. You don’t have to do everything perfectly for a perfect God to intervene. Rest assured that He has a plan, He knows the road, and He’s made provisions for your imperfections. He’s kind, gentle, and compassionate. He’s faithful, mighty, and true. And He enjoys you. So lighten your steps and lift your eyes. You’re in great hands.
May you count your blessings this weekend, out loud, one by one, in a louder voice than you'd usually use (it's hilariously fun that way). May you remember a time you belly laughed with a friend and smile at the thought of it. May you put on a song that makes you dance and shout and thank God for the freedoms you enjoy. And may you stretch your arms out in faith, full of expectancy, that your future days will be brighter than your past. God is on the throne, working on your behalf, and He's always good! Have a joyful, grateful, fun-filled weekend.
