Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Monday evening? Mom can't believe that it is already 5 pm & it is so light outside... it is crazy. I sure to love it though! Mom is doing okay for the most part. I have had a huge headache & pain in the face for most of the day. I sure can feel the storm coming. We have been watching the weather all day & closely. Looks like where we are we are going to get hit pretty hard. It is suppose to start at 8 pm this evening & go all the way until 8 pm tomorrow night. It is a 24 hours storm. We are suppose to get wet, heavy snow & amounts up to 18". We are just concerned about the wind & heavy snow as the temps will be so cold. We are hoping that we do not lose power through this storm. Please be with us throughout the entire thing, Tyler. Thank you so much.
Mom has kept herself quite busy today. I have been up since 7:30 am. Mark fed the pups for me as they woke him up earlier. I got up & made breakfast, did the dishes, did laundry, got ready, took the pups for a walk & then studies for a couple hours. Mom had some things that I needed to do online so I got those done as well. I got my grade back from the exam that I submitted last Friday... I got an 88 %. Mom is happy with that! I also gave Aunt Beck a call because today is her 50th Birthday! That is a big deal. We chatted on the phone for about 30 minutes. She is having a special dinner cooked for her tonight by John & they will celebrate when they get to Italy in 4 weeks. I told her that we would have a Birthday toast for her tonight after dinner. She was saying that in Italy to say " Cheers " it is Cin Cin! & it is pronounced as " Chin Chin ." or you can say Saluti! Mom loves to learn how to say things in other languages. I loved taking French in Junior High & High School. I dabbled in a little Spanish but not much. You were better at that than I was...lol. Mom plans on taking a French course before we head to Paris in the next year! We are wanting to go within the next year but first we want to get our home & be settled wherever that may be. We are pondering some places right now but nothing is set in stone at this point.  Mark & Mom had our skype call with Tubal & Karen last night. It was good to see them & chat. They were laying her Mom to rest today. The services were yesterday. Eli's services went well too. A friend of Moms went & said that there were so many people that they had to turn people away because the building was against fire code. Mom remembers that yours was like that as well but instead of just one set time Mom broke it into 2 times so that it wouldn't get so overwhelming. My friend was saying that the sermon was beautiful & there was a phrase that Mom absolutely loved & it was..." The only thing that has changed is his address. " That is so true. It is true for every person who loses his /her loved ones. Mom just loved that a lot & it stuck with me so I thought I would share it.
Mom got to speak to Grandpa & Debbie last night as well. They are doing good & prepping for the storm. NH is suppose to see about a foot of snow again... that makes 36" in 3 weeks. They said that the snow banks are so high right now & will just get higher after the next couple days. Every one here is getting so tired of the winter. Every one is getting cranky & with good reason. Spring is next week & the temps are not showing it at all. The sun has been rarely out & every one is in need of some Vitamin D! I know is! Aunt Shirley emailed me to tell me that she is in physical therapy for her back & has to walk with a walker now. Richard is still sick & was going to the doctors today. They haven't seen Great Grammy in over a month but Grandpa said she was doing okay. Mom also found out last night that a friend's dad was placed in Hospice earlier Sunday & this morning she wrote that her Dad gained his Angel wings this morning. He was a good man from what Mom remembers. It has been years since I saw him but may Vern R. I. P. now for eternal life. Another one of my friends has breast cancer & is undergoing chemo for the next year at least & another friend is battling Stage 4 lung cancer & MS. All these things makes Mom so sad. Mark & Mom found out about 3 hours ago that our Sister-in-law was at the hospital because she has done a lot of damage to her foot. She has broken several bones near the arch so she was having x-rays done to see the exact damage. This is the same one who had her toes amputated back in September/October. All this sad news... Mom is hoping that there will be some good news & soon! I know you are watching over us all & Mom is forever thankful for that. That is all the updates I have for today. Mom is hoping that everything will be okay here & that I will get the chance to write to you tomorrow but if we loose power then I will write to you as soon as I can. I will whisper to you tonight & also light your candle. Smile for Mom & I will smile to you as well. I miss you bunches & love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. Forever my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Always living inside my heart, mind, body & soul. Here are a couple sayings for the day:
" It's Monday... Time to motivate & make dreams & goals happen! Let's go! "
" Today, know that there is no limit to what you CAN do....when you give it your ALL! "
Mom needs to get going for now as it is 5:39 pm & the pups have not been fed & dinner is not going. I am running super late. I can hear the pups crying for dinner.... yikes... Mom is so terrible, huh? Watch over us, please Tyler & send me some signs when you can. Until tomorrow... good night & sweet dreams my sweet precious son.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer:
May your joy and strength rise with the sun this morning! You have access to these in Christ Jesus. You don’t have to wait to feel strong or joyful, you can lay hold of these this minute. Choose to look up this morning, before you take another step. Remind your soul that you’re strong in Him. Encourage your heart that Jesus carries your burdens and He carries you. He’ll do the heavy lifting, you do the trusting. Each day we’re faced with countless opportunities to choose faith or fear, determination or despair. Choose life because Jesus is ALIVE in you. Have a blessed day!
