Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Thursday evening? Mom is doing alright & running late as I seem to be doing these last few days. I actually have already fed & prepped dinner tonight. It is in the oven cooking so while that was going on I thought I would write to you. Thank you for watching over us during Storm Toby. Mom has to say that we did not get as much as I thought we were going to get though. I am not complaining at all in the least either. The forecast kept changing on us all day & through the night. At first it was suppose to be a 24 hour storm..8 am yesterday until 8 am this morning but then they changed it to us starting to get the snow around 5 pm. That didn't happen either. We started to get the snow around midnight when Mom headed to bed. It was rain at first & then changed over to straight snow. When Mom woke up at 8 am, the wind was whipping & snow was coming down sideways. It was really cold & nasty out there. We got about 5" of snow. It all stopped around 12 noon. The temps kind of warmed up & some of the snow has already been melting. It is pretty wet out there. I guess the sun is suppose to be out a lot next week so some more should melt away & maybe just maybe we can start looking forward to the Spring weather. Some places in Pennsylvania got 19" of snow out of this storm & it was a record of 9" in 2 hours. Holy Hannah Banana! That is crazy! NH & VT & the other side of MA did not get anything at all. They lucked out this time. We are all hoping that this was the last storm of this year but who knows. Guess the time will tell on that one! 
 Today, it was quite busy for us here. Mom was up at 8 am & lounged in bed for a few, got up & made breakfast & while I was eating maintenance stopped by to do some work that Mom requested. He was here for about an hour & then had to go do other work & then come back to us. In the meantime, Mom was able to do the dishes, make the bed, clean up the apartment a bit & get ready. The rest of the day was studying & paying a couple bills on line. Mom is making progress with the exam. Slowly but I am doing it. Hopefully tomorrow I will get the chance to finish & then I will just have to type it all out. After that will be the very last exam of this class! I am so super stoked about that. I think I will throw a party when I finish this one...lol! It has been a long time coming! mark was busy all day with calls & such for work. Right now he is chatting with his brother until dinner is done. Tonight will be a very relaxing evening with a drink & watching a movie. Mark has one more day & he is on vacation for 10 days! Mom is excited & can't wait! 
 I don't have any updates for you at all tonight because I didn't really chat with anyone last night & the phone has not rang once today. Guess Mom is pretty tired of always having to be the one to reach out first to everyone other than family. I am tired of being the one to do it all so I have stopped. I am not going to bend over backwards for anyone anymore ( friends, I mean. ) I am finding that no one really cares either because they are not calling me at all. It is a hard lesson to learn but I know who my real friends are & who really are not anymore. Mom is sure to have updates for you tomorrow though. I bet Meme & Grandpa will call tonight. 
 I hope that you evening is everything you need & want it to be. Have fun while I get some sleep tonight. If you can, please come & visit me in my dreams or just sit & be with Mom while I sleep. Thank you pumpkin. I will whisper to you later tonight as well. Smile when you hear Mom & I will be sure to smile back to you. I will again light a candle for you tonight so that flame burning bright is for you my sweet precious son. I miss you more than words can say & I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. To infinity & beyond. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you but for now I have to go & finish up dinner for Mark & I so we can eat at a descent time tonight. Good night & sweet dears my bright shining star.
