Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Tuesday afternoon? Mom is doing pretty good right now. I have been up since the crack of dawn & I have been going nonstop all day long. I made breakfast, did some house cleaning, got ready, chatted on the phone with Bonnie & Meme, chatted with Aunt Beck in Rome, took the pups for a nice walk & then I started right on my studies. I am gathering all the information that I need to get my paper together. I made a lot of progress that is for sure! Mom also got the chance to talk with Mark's friend, Dave this afternoon. Not sure if you would remember him but that was Amy's fiance. well, he had exciting news to tell us. He is engaged. It happened about a month ago. We are so happy for him. He deserves to be happy & he sure sounds like it. I know he loved Amy with all his heart & that relationship between them was wonderful & hard all in the same time. He will always love her but he found Tami & fell in love. I know that Amy would be happy for them both. They are planning an August/September wedding in Las Vegas. So I guess that means we are headed there in the Fall for a wedding!
Boy, the weather was windy & chilly but the sun peaked out every one in awhile today but now it is gloomy & gray again. Guess we are going to get more rain. Like we need more after the last 2 days...not! Well, I do know that it is going to be cool but super sunny tomorrow so that makes your Momma very happy! Mom heard from Grandpa this afternoon. That was no like him to call during the day but he wanted to know if him & Debbie could come down here on Monday & spend the night & leave Tuesday morning. I said of course they could so looks like we will be happy company for a couple days next week! Plus Charlie & Marion will be here for next weekend as well. They will be flying back from Jamaica. Lots going on next week! It will be nice. A good break from everything that is for sure!
Aunt Beck has sent me a couple pictures already from Rome. She looks so happy & definitely in her element. Mom is in awe of the architecture there in Europe. It is just so beautiful. One day... Mom will get to France. Especially Paris! I am looking forward to getting more pics from her during her trip. She leaves Rome on Thursday & they go to Venice for a few days. Mom is just so happy for her! Are you sending her signs? Are you with them from time to time? Mom wonders that. I wonder what you do with all the time that you have? I know there is no concept of " time" where you are. How do you fill up your days? I bet you are always on the go... going here & there around the world. Never sitting down or stopping. I know you are learning so many new things for your next journey. Mom just wishes that you could tell me what exactly that was. Please continue to send me signs so I know you are with me. I love them. Thank you pumpkin!
Mom doesn't have any other updates for you today but I will as the days go by. Mom was looking at her blog on here before I started writing to you tonight. Mom has been writing to you for 57 months... almost 5 years. I have posted 6116 times between letters & pictures combined. Wow... that is a lot. Mom still has so many followers daily. Roughly 200+ that read your letters on here. Mom wanted to just take the time right now to thank everyone who has been a faithful follower. I hope that y'all enjoy my letters still. I try to switch them up from time to time but mostly I just write what my heart is wanting to say. I am still grieving & I am sure that I will continue for the rest of my days here in the physical world. I hope in some ways I can help those out who are going through the same thing. Together we will make it through the good & the bad. The key is that we will do it together! Thank you to all in the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Poland & the Ukraine. It means so much to me. Many blessings to each & every one of you.
Well, that time of night has come. It is after 5 pm & Mom needs to get the pups fed & dinner going for us. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. I hope your evening is filled with all the things you need & want to do. I miss you so much. More than words can say. I love you even more. To the moon & back & all the way around the world. Mom will light your candle tonight & whisper to you just like I do every night. Smile when you hear Mom. I will smile back to you. Remember you will always be my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live in my heart, mind, body & soul. Until tomorrow.... good night & sweet dreams my precious son. You are my bright & shining star. I love you unconditionally.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. Hebrews 4:9-11, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for everything you have done for us, everything we think of when we are quiet for a moment and look back. May all that you have done remain alive in us, so that we can look forward with open, clear-seeing eyes, aware that our lives are in your hands and that you always lead us to something new, great, and glorious. Again and again you will give your Sabbath rest to your people, to all who acknowledge you and whose task is to work for you among the people. Again and again you will bring them your rest, until the coming of the last and glorious Sabbath on which your kingdom can be established. Amen.
