Dear Tyler,
Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Friday afternoon? Mom is doing alright. Not the best but I am doing okay. Yesterday afternoon around 3 pm Mom started to feel like poop. I turned my computer off after I did some school work & I went & sat on the couch. I made dinner & ate but after that I was sick all night long. I was up until about 2 am & got roughly 4 hours of sleep. Mom is feeling somewhat better. Not 100% but better than I was. I had breakfast this morning & all has been okay so we shall see.
The weather today is again so crazy. This morning there was a very bright sunny sunrise, then it clouded up & got gray. About an hour ago Mom finished getting ready & looked out the window & it was snowing sideways. Now it is cold, windy & looks like it is either sleet or rain. Mother Nature is having issues as it is April & we are still getting sleet & snow & 30 degree weather. It is depressing & so many people are being affected by it.... Mom included. Some places have 2" or more of snow already. Mom is so cold that after I get done writing to you I am going to go snuggle on the couch with a blanket. I will definitely be going to bed early tonight to try & get some sleep. Mom desperately needs it!
Well today was an exciting day for Mark. Mom was suppose to go with him but I stayed home just to be on the safe side of things. I did laundry, dried it & put it all away, dusted, & I only have vacuuming left to do. Anyways... Mark went & picked up his new vehicle this afternoon. We went last week while he was on vacation to go look at a couple, he chose one & he got it. It is not brand new but it is new to him. He likes it so that is all that matters! Mom said nothing at all because Mark asked me not to until everything was done & we had it here. It is nice. Mom really doesn't care as along as Mark is happy. Now I no longer have to listen to him complain about the other one we had. He hated driving that one with a passion. We traded it in so now we no longer have to worry about it not passing inspection or getting it all fixed as it was going to cost a lot of money. Bottom line is that it is here, he has it, he likes it... so Mom is thrilled that it is all done & over with. Now we just have a car payment ( actually 2 ) again....lol
Mom spoke to Meme again last night. She needed help with ordering something online so I helped her with that. We spoke for about 15 minutes & that was the only one I talked to last night. Mom's friend, Gary called as well. Hadn't spoken to him in about a month. We chatted for about 30 minutes. The rest of the night was rough for Mom. I watched TV as much as I could & then just gave up as it was late & I was trying to get some rest. Mom will chat with everyone over the weekend to catch up on things. Saturday, we will be running errands during the day & home at night & Sunday Mom & Mark are headed to a concert. He got me tickets for Christmas to see Celtic Women. It has been 6 years since I have seen them in concert. Mom has the chance to meet them all as well. It should be a fun time. I will tell you all about it on that letter. Mom will write to you in the morning as the concert is in the afternoon & we won't get home until the evening time.
I just looked out the window & it is snowing again like crazy. Big snowflakes this time & now it is sticking to the grass & ground. Before it was just melting. I just looked at the weather channel & it says we could get up to 3" of snow before this is done. Ugh.....Oh well. Weather is going to do what it is going to do regardless so there is no need for me to stress about it at all. Can't change it. Well that is all the updates Mom has for you today.
I hope that tonight is restful & peaceful for you my sweet precious son. I hope you get to do all the things that are needed by you & also things that you would like to do. Come be with Mom if you can. I would love that. I hope that when Aunt Beck has her reading tomorrow with Forrest you will make sure to stop in for a bit. Tell Aunt Beck what you have been doing so that she can tell Mom. I miss you so much & I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. To infinity & beyond. You are my wind beneath my wings & my hero. Forever you will continue to live on inside my heart, mind, body & soul. I will whisper to you later tonight & also I will light the nightly candle for you. Smile when you hear Mom & I will smile to you.
Here is the sayings for the day:
"Every positive thought is a silent prayer which will change your life. "
" Of all the roads ahead, follow the ones that feel like you're dancing on a rainbow. "
Mom will be back tomorrow afternoon with another letter to you. For now I am going to go snuggle up in a blanket & lay down on the couch. My tummy is acting up again so I just want to go relax for a bit before I start the night routine stuff. I love you. You are my bright shining star.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here are the prayers for the day:
May you find a moment of peace and quiet tonight to thank God for all that is right in your world. May you have the presence of mind to release your cares and worries to Him. May you have the gritty faith to grab a firmer grip on His promises to you. And may you wake up in the morning knowing that you've gained ground even during your sleeping hours because God is always moving on your behalf. As you entrust your whole self to Him today, He'll get you where you need to go tomorrow.
As the day wraps up and you crawl into bed tonight, may your body, mind, and soul be at rest and know the deep, abiding peace that comes from deeply knowing God. May He speak to you while you sleep and may He download fresh insight and perspective regarding your current circumstances. And as you rise up in the morning, may faith rise up in you and compel you to obey when you'd rather self-protect, give when you'd rather hoard, and trust when you're tempted to worry. You're not made for this place. You're only passing through. Live as one who is spoken for. Good night!
