Dear Tyler,
Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is doing okay but I just feel off today for some reason. Perhaps it is because Mom went to bed after midnight last night & I was awake at 7 am this morning. Not sure but hopefully after a good nights sleep tonight I will be back to myself tomorrow.
The sun is shining today & the sky is blue. Mom has not been outside at all yet because I have been either on the phone or computer all day long. I will be taking the pups outside for a nice walk in a few though. Mom is waiting for a phone call with our grocery delivery & then I need to prep dinner as it will take a bit tonight to do as Mom is making homemade meatballs with pasta & garlic bread for dinner. It is already 3:49 pm so I need to get my butt in gear & get this all done. Anyways.... Mom got to chat with Aunt Beck this morning for a few minutes & I will call her in the middle of the week as she was pressed for time today. She was saying that Forrest showed up Friday night & did a small reading for her Saturday over breakfast. They will continue it tomorrow afternoon. She was saying that all females came through though. No names but ancestors from our family. I hope you stop in quickly to say hello to her. That would be nice. Mom will let you know how that goes when her & I chat again. She is 4 days out from her trip & she is so excited! I would be as well!!! Mom also finally got to chat with Auntie Kristina this morning. We used to chat almost every day but the last 6 months have been just maybe 4 times. She seems busy & is doing well. I will see her next month when I am in NH for the weekend. It will be nice because I have not seen her in almost 2 years. That is sad. Her schedule & Moms clash so much & living in 2 different states does not help that either. Ryan is doing well. I ask about him every time we talk. He is a big boy though. I just saw a recent picture of him & almost didn't recognize him at all. I told her that we could chat more during the end of the week. yesterday, Mark & Mom went to the Celtic Woman show. The theater in Providence, RI is absolutely beautiful. It reminding me of the theater that I went to in NH as a little girl. So stunning. Mom was in awe. The VIP backstage was okay. It was not like the last one I went to but the ladies were so nice & sweet. A women was taking the pictures of all of us with them & Mom was so disappointed because the lady when handing me my phone back somehow deleted the pictures off my phone so now I don't have the ones of Mark & Mom with the Celtic Women. The show in itself was wonderful. Much different from the ones that I have been to in the past. Mark actually enjoyed himself a lot so that was good! The drive there & the drive home was so nice. Fast & no traffic! We got home around 6:15 pm, fed the pups, had dinner & then jumped on the skype call. Before that Mom also spoke to Meme & Debbie just to let them know we were home. mark crashed at 9 pm last night & Mom was wide awake. Think tonight it is going to be Mom crashing early & Mark being awake late tonight...lol! Tomorrow he will be going to the office for the day & Mom has a nail appointment. It will be another busy day for sure. The rest of the week will be finishing up my final exam & saying goodbye to this class forever! Think I will be finished by Friday...which is Friday the 13th! Hopefully it will bring me good luck! Not much else has really happened as we were gone all day & the weekend flew by for us. Mom will be sure to give updates to you when I get them. For now... here is the saying for the day:
" Love yourself first, because that's who you'll be spending the rest of your life with. "
Simple saying but very true! You have to love yourself first before you can love anyone else. Mom is hoping tonight will be peaceful & calm for you. My hope for you is that your evening will be everything that you need & want it to be. May you have fun while Mom is sleeping tonight. Fly high & free & come visit me in my dreams if you can. Thank you! Mom will light a candle tonight for you & I will also whisper to you like I always do every night. Smile to Mom & I will smile right back to you! I miss you so much & I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Mom will be back tomorrow afternoon with another letter to you so until then.... Good night & sweet dreams my sweet precious son. You are my bright shining star & will forever live inside my heart, mind, body & soul.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
May you stretch out your arms, open your hands, and receive a fresh dose of joy today! May you decide in your heart to trust God fully with every hope and dream you possess. May you refuse the bait of offense, discouragement, or disappointment, and instead, grab hold of God's promises to you. May your eyes open up to the very real and specific call on your life. May His Word come alive in you in a way that calls you out of the boat, over the mountain, and into your next place of promise. And, may MANY meet Jesus because of how you walk with Him and share His love. Have a joy-filled day today!
