Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this hot hot hot Tuesday early evening? It is sunny and 94 degrees today. we have had this kind of weather for the last 4 days and Mom is loving it. Mom is sorry about the not so great letter last night but I was totally out of it. I was tired by 8 pm and in bed by 9:30 pm. Grandpa even called to chat and Mom was almost asleep that Mark is the one who chatted with him and told him that I would call him today. I think Mom just overdid it the last 2 days with studying and pushing myself. I started on the next chapters today and the exam but I decided to stop for the day right now seeings how it is 4:36 pm and pick it back up tomorrow. I know that it is the 4th of July and it is a Holiday but Mom is still going to study away. I won't be studying Thursday or Friday so I need to tomorrow. Mom did good on her last 2 exams. I got a 100% and an 88% on the other. The points per questions are a lot (6-8 pts each) so there is not a lot of room for error. The one I got an 88 on, Mom got 3 wrong....lol. I am doing the best I can though. The exams are getting tougher as I get more into the course. I am proud of myself, our family is proud of Mom and I know you are proud of me too. That is all that matters to me. Anyways.... enough of that!
Last night Mom was up a lot with Princess. Someone decided to let of fireworks from 12 midnight to after 1 am. She literally jumped on me and was shaking so bad. Ozzy was under the bed the entire time and Mark slept through it all. Everyone has been lighting fireworks off for the last week. It has been a tough one for us with the pups. Any loud noise makes them so scared and shake. Mom and Mark really hate that. We feel bad and make sure to comfort them the best we know how too. I will be glad when the 4th of July has come and gone. That way the pups are better and we all can get sleep. Mom and Mark are doing nothing special tomorrow. We are treating it like another day. We will sit outside in the evening though, watching the fireworks from. We can very lucky to be able to see them from our balcony! They usually start around 8 pm and go until 12 midnight. Mom won't stay up for them all though as everyone will be here early Thursday morning. Mom will try to write to you every night while they are all here but I know the letters will not be long ones because I will do them when I am getting ready for bed every night. Mom will at least want to write to you and not skip 3 nights. Last year we had Grandpa, Debbie, Meme, Bob, and rick over for a huge BBQ. It was fun but super tiring. The year before we were alone and the year before that we had Marion and Charlie here for the weekend. This year it will be nice to just be us, no fuss, no clean up, etc.... Mom will write to you tomorrow night before the fireworks start...promise!
Mom does not have much for updates for you at all. Grandpa & Debbie are well & so is Meme and Bob. They are all packed and ready to come here for 4 days of fun. we are ready for them as well! No change in Great Grammy I am afraid. She is a strong soul to keep hanging on. We get that from her! Mom was so upset last night. Aunt Beck texted me to tell me that what I sent her got there but there arrived broken. One was salvageable but the other one was broken beyond repair. Mom is going to have to try and see if I can find another one for her but the likelihood of that is slim. Bean is the same as well. Mark is good. He is happy to have the next 5 days free! It will be good for him too! Mom will keep you updated as I know of things but for now that is all I got.
It is almost 5 pm and you know what that means.... time to feed the pups and then get dinner going for us. Hope Ozzy is better after dinner though as the poor little guy has been sick all last night and most of the day. He has been super quite as well and that is so not like him. Mom hopes that you have a restful evening. Maybe you will get to do some fun things while Mom is sleeping tonight. I am sure you are busy learning and doing all kinds of things. If you can.... come visit Mom and sit with me awhile tonight. Thank you my sweet precious son. Thank you for watching out for all of us down here too. It means everything to Mom. I miss you beyond any words can say and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever in my heart, mind, body and soul. I will light the candle for you after I get done writing to you. Know that it burns bright just for you! I will whisper to you later as well. Smile when you hear Mom and I will smile back. Until tomorrow comes... good night and sweet dreams.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer:

In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy - being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:4-6
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for the work you are doing. We thank you for working through people of all kinds and of all vocations and through the many hearts that know your goodness. We thank you for the great work led by the Lord Jesus, who will overcome the world with patience and with gentleness. He will overcome the world, opening the door wide for all, including the poorest of the poor, to come to you, their Father in heaven. Grant that with the light we have been given we may remain firm and true. Do not let us come into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours forever. Amen.
