Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! Happy 4th of July to you. How are you doing on this Wednesday afternoon? Mom is just plumb tuckered out today. Last night was night 5 of h*ll for us here. Someone again was lighting off fireworks from 8 pm to 12 midnight. Princess shook the whole entire time and Ozzy was under the bed. Both Mark and Mom were so tired but Princess was not having it at all. She would not let us sleep. We were up at 6 am. Mom did laundry, got ready and then Mark and Mom took off for a couple of hours. We went shopping. What a day to do it too because there was no one there at all. It was nice to go in when it was not busy! Then after shopping we went to a late lunch and then came back home. Mark did a couple things in the garage and mom worked on vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms and dusting so this place would be clean for everyone to arrive tomorrow morning. The fireworks will start around 8 pm again tonight and go to about midnight as well but I am hoping to get to sleep around 11 pm at the latest so that I can get a good nights sleep and be up early and chipper in the morning. Mom is going to give the pups medicine before the fireworks start tonight so that maybe just maybe they will be calm for the night. I doubt it but it is worth a try.
Ozzy is feeling better today. He was still sick last night though. I think it is the heat. Today is day 6 of 94 degree weather. It is super hot and humid outside. The sun is just shining away though. Last night we did get thunder and lightning. The clouds were super neat to look at. No sunset though. Maybe there will be one tonight. The phones were quiet all night. No one called at all. I am sure that everyone will call us tonight or at least in the morning before they start the travel down here. Mom will have to update you at a later time because I don't have anything today.
Mom has already lit the candle for the evening. I whispered to you, did you hear Mom? I will whisper to you again later as well so smile when you hear me and I will smile back to you. It is already 5 pm and it is time to feed the pups. Mark and Mom already had a very late lunch so neither of us are hungry for dinner tonight. We will have some ice cream later though. we will probably watch some TV until the fireworks start here and then head out to the balcony to watch them for a little bit then it will be bedtime for us! Mom hopes that you have a wonderful evening doing all the things that you need to do and may want to do as well. I am sure all those fireworks are so pretty where you are. Mom will again miss watching them with you. It was one of the favorite things to do together. We waited all year long to go see them. Mom sure will be thinking of you when I am watching them. There are always tears that come when I do. Just know when you see them it is just Mom thinking of you. I will be alright. I will try to be back tomorrow morning before family arrives but if that does not happen then I will write to you later that evening for sure. It won't be a long one though because I will be on either my iPad or my cell phone and it is tough to write to you on them but I will because I don't want to miss a day. Mom is needing to get going for right now though. The pups are hungry and Mark is busy at the moment. I miss you and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are in my heart, mind, body and soul. Until tomorrow.....good night and sweet dreams.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer:

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:31–32, NIV
Lord our God, our Father in heaven and on earth, we ask you to bless us, your children, for we want to be your children and nothing else. We want to have our joy and delight in knowing that we belong to you, the almighty God, who began and who will complete redemption on earth through Jesus Christ, our Savior. Bless your Word in us. Give us courage in suffering and distress, for we are allowed to serve you in all circumstances, even when we find it bitterly hard. Your name shall be honored in us, your kingdom shall come. As surely as the earth endures, everything shall happen in accordance with your will, on earth as in heaven. Amen.
