Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday evening? Mom is not going to write a lot at all tonight for many reasons. I just got done prepping dinner and studying for the day and it is 5:48 pm so another late dinner for Mark and I tonight plus Mom is just really emotional right now and my head is not in a good place. Mom received a message last night around 8 pm that the doctors put Great Grammy on a morphine drip now and it will just be a matter of time. Mark and Mom packed our bags and got the dog bag packed as well so we could head out this morning to drive to NH but we found out that Mark doesn't have as much PTO (paid time off) as we thought he did so now our bags are packed and ready to go when we receive the call. Mom's heart is hurt because I know I will  not get the chance to see Great Grammy before she passes and I really wanted to but Mark has to work so that we can pay the bills. It is a hard pill to swallow. Aunt Shirley and Grandpa are keeping me well informed and Mom appreciates it so much. I am sure that you are getting ready as well to greet her when she gains her Angel wings. She is going to have an army waiting for her as she has lost so many family and friends through the years. Mom promises to write to you tomorrow when my head is clearer and I am not so tired and emotional as I am right now. I will whisper to you as I always do so smile for Mom when you hear me and I will smile back. The candle will be lit for both you and Great Grammy tonight as well. I miss you my sweet precious son and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever in my heart, mind, body and soul. Hope your evening is filled with everything you need to do and want to do. Come be with Mom if you can. Thank you. Until tomorrow comes....good night and sweet dreams pumpkin.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer for the day:

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20, NIV
Lord our God and our Father, we praise you because we are allowed to have community together in the name of Jesus, who has opened our eyes to see you and who has promised to be among us when we are gathered in his name. May our hearts remain unshadowed, even when our lives seem to grow difficult and the future looks dark. Protect us whenever we are tempted and have battles to fight. Deliver us. Make us free people who know we belong to you and who are allowed while still on earth to have a share in eternal life. Amen.
