Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Monday evening? It is the 14th day of the new year and it was definitely a Monday but a very productive one here for both Mark and Mom. We started our day with getting up around 7 am and feeding the pups and then Mark went right to work in his office. He needed about an hour of just peace and quiet so Mom lounged in bed reading emails and such so that I could keep the pups with me. Around 8:30 am Mom got up and started doing a few things around the apartment. I rearranged some things in my office and then I did some rearranging in the closet. After that I was intending to get ready but my friend called me and we chatted for over an hour. Mom made something to eat, did those dishes and then went right to studying. I was anxious, in a good way to start my new class. I was able to read 4 chapters today and do 2 exams. One had 20 questions and the other had 25. Not a lot of room to get errors because the questions were worth either 4 or 5 pts each. Mom got a 95 on exam 1 and a 96 on exam 2. Out of 45 questions I got 43 right. The second exam went right into reading medical reports and figuring out what the diagnosis was and then coding it. No multiple choice either...Mom had to figure it out and hope for the best. I was pretty proud of myself as I have not done this coding in over 2.5 years. Mom is hoping to read the next few chapters tomorrow and do the next 2 exams as well. If I keep going I will most likely be done this course by the end of the week or beginning of next week. That makes me happy because that will mean I am right on with my goal to be completed by the end of the month. Mark will be busy again tomorrow like he was today so I will have all kinds of time to get a lot of studying in. I may even work on it Saturday when he will be working as well. I won't have anything else to do so why not! Not much else went on today. Phones rang a few times but they were telemarketers. Mom just lets it ring....lol! Last night Mom spoke to Grandpa and Debbie for a bit. They are not looking forward to this weekends weather at all. I think there are many that feel that way including Mom. I will touch base with everyone probably tomorrow or Wednesday and then again over the weekend. Aunt Shirley messaged me this morning to tell me that her sweet friend Rosemary gained her angel wings last night. She is so sad and Mom feels awful. She sent me her obituary tonight. I never knew she had several children and lost a son and 2 grandbabies. I am glad that Aunt Shirley was able to go and see her on Saturday. May Rosemary R. I. P. now for eternal life.
That is all the updates that I have for you tonight. Mom is pretty tired. I kind of did things backwards tonight. I got done studying and then went and prepped dinner, fed the pups and then continued to get dinner finished. We ate and Mom did the dishes and now it is going on 8 pm. Mom is drained after the day. I will be relaxing when I finish this letter to you and then going to bed early so I can get up early to study again.
Mom has had the candle burning in my office for you for several hours now. I hope it makes you smile when you see it burning bright. I will whisper to you later as well. Smile for me and I will smile for you. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you and I will let you know how the studying went again. I miss you so much my sweet precious son. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. To infinity and beyond. You will always be my superhero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Have fun tonight while I get some sleep. Come visit me in my dreams or sit next to me while I sleep. Thank you. Mom is going to get going for tonight. My eyes are hurting and I am blinking a lot. Until tomorrow comes.... good night and sweet dreams my bright shining star.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer for the day:

For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God's power. Likewise, we are weak in him, yet by God's power we will live with him to serve you. 2 Corinthians 13:4, NIV
Lord our God, we come into your presence and kneel before your throne, asking you with all our hearts for your Spirit, so that our lives may be guided and ruled by you, the one God and Creator of all life. Let your Word come into our hearts. Give your blessing on all we experience in life and on all we ask of you as we stand before you. We are weak and poor. We can achieve nothing, and our hearts are weary. But you can strengthen us. You can make everything come right to reveal your kingdom throughout the world. Then all the people of our time may come to know that your will for the earth is not distress and suffering, but your goodness, your life, and your eternity. Amen.
