Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday late afternoon? Mom is doing outstanding today and you wanna know why.... it is because it is official! I have finished college for my associates degree in medical specialties! My final grade was posted and I did better than what I thought I would. I got a 94 on it so my overall grade was a 95. That makes 21 A's and 4 B's for the 25 courses that I took over the last 2.5 years. I was so excited when I saw that this morning. Mom also got right on it and watched 2 webinars that equaled 2 CEUs that will go towards my CMRS. If I do 2 a day then I will have all my CEUs finished by next week and I won't have to worry about them again for another 2 years! Mom is super happy about that for sure! I called Grandpa and Meme last night to tell them and they said they were so proud of me. That made me feel really good. We are going to celebrate when they are here next week. It feels so good to say that I am completely finished. I am not sure if I will hear anything from the college or not but I will be on the look out for something. As far as I can see my numeric grade finished at a 94~A and my GPA finished at a 3.85. Not shabby at all. Mom will graduate with honors. So that is my really good news for the day. Oh yeah, we got more news as well because Mark was suppose to go to NY next week for work to do a cutover in Long Island and because that is about 5 hours away he was going to be gone for 4 days but he had a call this afternoon and it is all being done remotely. He doesn't have to go anywhere at all. Mom is very happy about that! So that was also great news.
Mom was up around 8 am this morning. The pups slept in which was nice for a change. I got up and fed them, and then I lounged in bed for an hour and then I got up, took a shower, made the bed, did some house cleaning, made breakfast and then came in to watch the webinars. Now it is 4:47 pm and I need to be getting the pups fed and then making dinner for Mark and I. I think it will be a simple dinner this evening as the time has gotten away from me today! Tonight will be or should be fairly quiet. I think that after dinner Mom will relax and watch some TV and then I will take a nice hot bubble bath and have a glass of wine before bed. I want to get up early so that I can get right to these videos I have to watch. They are boring as all heck but I have to do it. I am hoping to do 3 tomorrow so that way I only have to do 2 a day for 2 days and then 1 daily for the next 3 and I will be finished! I\Anyways... got off track there for a minute....I don't think I will chat with anyone tonight and I have no updates for you at all today. I am sure I will come the weekend though. The sun is staring to set now. Last night I asked you to give Mom a painting in the sky and you did. It was a small one but it was beautiful. Mom took a few pictures of it and I will share 1 tonight on here. It made me smile so big. I hope you heard Mom whispering to you. I will do it again tonight so smile for me and I will smile for you. I will light the candle for you as well in a little bit. I hope that your evening will be all that you want it to be and that you have some time to come visit me in my dreams. Have fun while I sleep though. I miss you more than words can say and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are forever my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Always you live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Mom needs to get going for now though so I can start the night routine stuff but I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. Please watch over us all like I know you do. Thank you my sweet precious son. Thank you for lighting the way for me daily. it means a lot to Mom. Until tomorrow comes...good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is today's prayer:
The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things! The Lord’s right hand is lifted high; the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!” Psalm 118:14-16, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we are your children, and we look to you and to your help at every turn of our lives. Remember us, especially when we want to serve you. Stay with us with your Spirit so that everything may work out to further your kingdom and the victory of Jesus Christ, which is to be proclaimed on earth. Through his victory all people shall find in him their Savior and look to you, our Father in heaven. Yes, Father in heaven, have mercy on the world, on the many who are unfortunate and who suffer from the widespread evil around them. Remember them. Have mercy on us through the strong and mighty Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
