Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? It is already 4 pm and I am just finishing up everything that I needed to do before I wrote to you today. Mom has been up since 6 am. Mark fed the pups for me this morning which was a very nice change for me. I got to lay in bed and just relax and wake up slowly instead of jumping out of bed like I always do. I lounged in bed for just a bit though as I needed to get up and get ready to take Mark to his doctor's appointment this morning. We left at 10:45 am and we didn't get back until after 1 pm. We had to go get some prescriptions as well. When we got back, we had lunch and then Mark went back to work and Mom came into her office so that I could start paying the bills that needed to be done, grocery shopped and did a few more orders that we needed from various stores. Now I am finished all that and I am writing you your letter.
Mom lit a new candle for you a couple of hours ago. It says Thankful on it and it is a Fall smell. Cinnamon and Pumpkin I think. Mom said a prayer for you and all the victims of 9/11 when I was lighting it. I hope you heard my voice. I hope you smiled as well. I told you that I missed and loved you. Oh how true that is. I love and miss you beyond words. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will forever be my hero and the wind beneath my wings. You live in my heart, mind, body and soul. Always always always I hope you feel that deep in your soul.
Well, Mark's appointment went as well as it could. The doctor said that when he lifted up his shirt and looked at his side where the injury is, he could literally watch the muscle just spasm. He said that Mark looked good for what he has gone through in 3 months time. His blood pressure was good but the doctor wants to see it go down just a bit. He was not released for full duty with work. It is still light duty. He has PT started next week again so we shall see how that goes. The doctor also told him that after PT is finished, he was to start doing yoga and continue that for the rest of his life. He has no problem with gaining muscle, he is having a hard time retaining the muscles that he has and that is why he is getting injured a lot. Mom told him that I would do yoga with him. I don't mind and it will be good for me as well! I actual look forward to that. Lastly, the doctor said that now that he is turning 50 next week, he needed to have some tests done. They are just for screening. All in all it was a good visit. Mom will keep you posted with what happens at PT on Monday.
I have absolutely no updates for you at all today. I have not spoken to Meme, Grandpa or Aunt Beck since Tuesday. I will try to touch base with everyone either tomorrow or over the weekend. This week has just been so crazy and hectic that Mom hasn't had a chance to do anything. Tomorrow during the day I will be on the phone a lot with making changes to all the accounts. I tried to do that 2 days ago but did not get the chance to. I think there is over 15 calls to make! After that it will just be packing up what little we have and focusing on the garage this weekend. Mom would like to kick back the last couple of weeks before the chaos starts with the movers, the vehicles leaving, us flying, etc.... I need that down time so bad. We will see how it all goes!
I hope you have fun tonight doing everything that you need to do and want to do while I am sleeping. Come visit me if you can. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you in between all the calls I have to make. Mom needs to get going to start the night routine for us. Until tomorrow comes my sweet precious son....good night and sweet dreams later. I will whisper to you later so be listening out for me. I love you, Tyler.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer for the day:

When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains...And the gospel must first be preached to all nations...Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Mark 13:7–8,10, 13, NIV
Lord our God, Ruler over the world, whose longing is to see your thoughts and your will in all peoples, we come before you and ask that we may find strength in your Word and never cease to hope for the coming of your kingdom. Even when the world storms and rages, even when earthly kingdoms rise up against each other and everything seems dark, even then be present. Let your kingdom go quietly forward, to the honor of your name. Help us come closer to the goal Jesus has shown us, closer to the time we wait for, the day of his coming when all shall be made new and good through your power, through your Spirit. Amen.
