Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? Mom is doing alright today! It has been the first day since I haven't felt so exhausted in over 10 days. It feels pretty good. I have been on the go all day long today! Up at 7 am and fed the pups, walked them and then relaxed for about 30 minutes, made 3 calls and then upstairs I went to make the bed, get ready and out the door Meme and I went. We had to go to the post office and then we went to 3 stores to get a few things we needed. We left at 10:30 am and we got home at 1:15 pm. We got to the stores in time before it got crazy busy so that was cool! Got home, put things away and then Mom had to make more calls and send emails out. Everyone is having trouble with the mail. The post office is slow and any packages that you are needed are either getting lost or not getting fulfilled at all. Mom has been waiting on packages for over a month now and I just learned that I will not be getting them at all. Most of all my Christmas presents came in! That was huge and I am happy about that!
The weather here yesterday was crazy with the wind and the rain but everything was over with around 8 pm last night. I will tell you that a tornado did go through where we live. It hit 3 counties around 4:30 pm. We are all okay here but a lot of people were not so lucky. They lost everything. Their homes and some even lost their businesses. Many are without power still. Mom is praying for them all. So harsh as 2020 has been rough to begin with all year. We are 8 day away from the Christmas Holiday and now this. My heart breaks for them all. Anything that we can help with and donate to, you know we will.
Speaking of the weather. As you just know, we got hit here with the storms and the tornado but up North.... where we lived and where Aunt Beck and Grandpa are....they are getting hit with a nasty snow storm. A definite Nor'Easter Snow Storm. I guess it started around 12 midnight and it is still snowing there. Mom spoke to Grandpa yesterday and he said that they were going to get 3-5" of snow while everyone above and below them would get hit hard. Well.....this morning when I was on social media... I saw pictures of what my friends were posting.....so far everyone up there has gotten over 40"...yes...40" of snow and it is still coming down. I have touched base with Grandpa and Debbie. They are doing alright. Grandpa helped the lady across the way and he will do there driveway tomorrow when it stops snowing. He was out there for 5 hours and said that was enough for the day. I hope he does not over do it. You know I worry about him. Mom is anxious to see what the final totals will be. I will let you know on tomorrows letter. Mom was born and raised in NH and lived there for 45 years. I have never seen a snow storm bring in that much all at once. I raised you there and still the same thing. Maybe close to 2 1/2 ft but not over 4. That is like the blizzard of 1978. That was horrible but Mom was only 7 years old so I don't remember much plus I was a kid so I am sure that I loved it...lol!
Tonight will be all about feeding the pups, walking them and then making dinner and relaxing. We will watch tv for a bit I am sure and to bed early as tomorrow Mom has a busy day. I am not going anywhere but I have to put together a few boxes and then I have to get all our presents together. This weekend we are going to be busy too so not much time to do anything else. Next week is even worse so I must do it tomorrow. I will start in the morning and finish by mid afternoon. It will be fun. I will listen to Christmas music to try and get into the holiday spirit. Things are so different now without you. The holidays are just another day for Mom. Sure I make a meal and go through the motions but that is about it. I am happy when they are finished. I miss you so much. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero, my bright shining star in the sky and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live in my heart, mind, body and soul.
Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. Have fun while I sleep tonight and maybe I will get to see you in my dreams. Mom will light the candle tonight as well so know it will be burning bright for you. I will whisper to you later before I go to bed to...smile for me and I will smile to you. I have to go for now as it is after 4:30 pm. Time to start the night routine. I will be happy when it doesn't get dark out at 5:30 pm... I have 3 more months to go before that happens...lol.
I love you my sweet precious son. Forever and always!
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah ⛄ππ π
