Dear Tyler,
Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is hanging in there as I am so tired right now. I am so sorry I did not get the chance to write to you last night but after I explain the weekend here you will definitely understand why. So Saturday morning around 11 am Grandpa & Debbie arrived here. We brought all their stuff upstairs & then they had a cup of coffee to unwind from the drive down here. After about 30 minutes to an hour we decided to head out to the mall to do the shopping we needed to get done. We got Mark's suit, the ties that the guys will be wearing, Grandpa's shoes, Debbie's shoes, & we ordered Mom's shoes. Then we decided to walk around a bit, get a snack to munch on & at 3:30 pm or so we decided to come back here & have a cook out. Mom had made a mac salad already & we threw hamburgers & hotdogs on the grill & also had corn on the cob. Grandpa & Mark decided to have a couple beers while Debbie & Mom were drinking wine. Dinner was done, we ate & Mom did all the dishes. We were finished by 5:15 pm. Grandpa & Mark were watching the Red Sox game as Debbie & Mom went into my office & did some shopping on line for extra things Debbie needed for the wedding. It was a little after 6 pm when we heard Mark on his cell phone & we could tell he was pretty angry. Not knowing what was going on...Mom was like yikes as I wouldn't have wanted to be on the other end of the phone....well come to find out he was talking like that to his boss. He was told he had to go into work because one of his clients were down & he needed to go fix it until they were up & running. Mark left at 6 pm Saturday night & did not get home until 6:15 pm Sunday morning. He worked that whole time & was up over 24 hrs straight. It ruined the rest of the weekend that was suppose to be fun for all of us. Mom didn't get any sleep that night because Princess was barking constantly until 3 am or so. I think I got about 3 hours of sleep total. Sunday Mom took Debbie shopping in the morning & then we went to lunch. We got back about 2:30 pm & then Grandpa & Debbie left at 3: 15 pm to head home. Mom did the laundry & got everything back in order. I was so exhausted but I managed to stay up & watch some TV & have dinner. That was a bad call. Mom laid down at 8 pm & fell right to sleep as I couldn't even keep my eyes opened but woke up about 45 minutes to an hour later & I was so sick. I was up 3 to 4 times every hour until about 3 am. Mom managed to get a few hours of sleep but I was up at 7 am this morning. I am still so tired & I thought it would be an early night for Mom tonight but looks like it may be a long night again for me after a phone call that just took place with Mark. Mom is so upset, angry, sad & every other emotion that you can think of. I have a big decision to make & either way will result terribly. I am torn. I need guidance but have no where to turn. I have no one to talk to about this so I must think & make the best decision possible for my own good. Please, Tyler, be with Mom through this all. You hear everything, you see everything. Maybe you could help point Mom in the direction I need to go. Please help me if you can. Mom needs you so much. Thank you my sweet precious son.
Mom has no updates for you as the phones have been super quiet today & I filled you in already with what happened over the weekend. Mom does have the prayer for you today though: May you be quick to identify and let go of any lies you pick up along the way today. May you shake off any offenses that you’re tempted to cling to. May you instead, wrap yourself up in the complete love and affection of Christ. May you forgive yourself and forgive others. May you believe that God's promises are more powerful than your blunders. Embrace God's redemptive plan for your life with hope and expectancy. You’re truly, deeply loved.
" Here are a few inspirational quotes for you as well: " The world breaks everyone & afterward many are strong in the broken places. "
" No law or ordinance is mightier than understanding. "
" Really great people make you feel that, you too, can become great. "
" The highest reward for a person's toil is not what they get for it, but what they become by it. "
" When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. "
" Everything is okay in the end, if it's not ok, then it's not the end. "
Mom figured I would finish the book off as there was only those quotes left. Now I will have to come up with something else...lol. I will though so don't worry.
Mom needs to get going as it is almost 6: 30 pm & I still have not ate dinner. I will whisper to you tonight so be listening for my voice. Smile when you hear it & I will try to smile back for you. Hope you have a peaceful night doing all the things you need to & want to do. Come be with me if you can or visit me in my dreams tonight. Thanks Ty! You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. You live inside my heart, mind, body & soul. I miss you beyond anything you can imagine. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you so until then....good night & sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
