Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Friday morning? Mom is pretty tired due to not much sleep last night because of the high winds & rain but I am up, ready, packed, & going to be hitting the road in about an hour. The weather is terrible. The winds picked up last night around 10 pm & every hour they are getting stronger & stronger. Right now it is sleeting & the winds are about 40 mph. The weather guys were certainly correct on this storm. Mom is concerned because NH is getting the same thing we are but they are getting the high winds & snow. Please be with Mark, Mom & the pups while we are traveling today. Thank you. Mark was just saying that you know when we are in the brunt of the storm when the local weather guy is right down the road from where we live. He was saying that winds where he is have gotten close to 100 mph. This is a very dangerous storm. Mark & Mom are grateful & thankful that we are leaving because we know we have 2 days of this weather & we will indeed lose power. Just hope that everyone here is safe & that we come home to power again. The pups are being very quiet this morning for us which in a way has been great so that we could get things done but they are scared of the winds & rain. We are trying to comfort them the best we can. They will be better when they know they are going with us & not being left here. meme called Mom a little bit ago. She was saying that Interstate 89/93 was a sheet of glare ice right now. That is not cool as those are the Interstates that we will be traveling. You know Mom... I will be " white knuckling " it until we are at the hotel & safe. I know that we are in good hands though with you watching over us & Mark being a really good driver. we will take our time & get there when we do. Mom is guessing that it will take about an hour longer to get there. That will be a 4 hour drive. I will write to you tomorrow morning as well before we start our busy day. Mom is sorry that this letter will not be very long but I am trying to type as fast as I can incase we lose power. I know you understand. Not much is going on for updates. Grandpa called last night & we chatted for about 20 minutes. All is well there & we will see them later this evening I believe. If not we will see everyone tomorrow morning. I will touch base with the rest of our family at the beginning of the week. Aunt Shirley did email me & said that she is feeling worse & Richard is now sick with the same thing. I really hope they get better soon. The winds are really picking up now & they are howling like crazy. There isn't even a break in the winds... it is crazy. Mom has witnessed this weather a couple times & it sure is scary. Glad I am not alone today. we have the weather channel on in the background & they are saying that power outages are coming in by the minute. People who were expecting no snow have already got 7" of it. power lines, trees, etc are just falling everywhere. People need to evacuate their homes. This is awful. They were also saying that we will be getting winds that will be close to tornadoes. Mom is praying for all to stay safe.
I think that Mom needs to be wrapping this letter up to you for now. I think we need to be hitting the road sooner rather than later now. We really need to get away from this & just go slow. Mom is hoping that your evening tonight is restful & peaceful. Hope you get to do all the things you need to & want to do. Come be with me or visit me in my dreams tonight if you can. Thank you my sweet precious son. I will whisper to you as I always do so be listening out for my voice. Smile when you hear Mom & I will smile right back to you. I won't be able to light a candle tonight but you know that I will always be thinking of you. I know you are shining bright wherever you may be for someone who needs it. I miss you so much. No words can express it. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You will always be my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are in my heart, mind, body & soul. Here are a couple sayings for the day today:
" You know what the issue is with this world? Everyone wants a magical solution to their problem & everyone refuses to believe in magic" That is taken from Alice in Wonderland!
" Magic is in your heart. "
Mom will be back in the morning light to write to you. Until then....good night later tonight & sweet dreams to you.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here are the prayers for the day:
May Jesus tilt your chin upward so you can sense His smile and more clearly hear His voice. May He speak a surprising word of encouragement to you so you have the strength to keep marching onward. May He build a bridge where you least expect one. May He connect you with others who see the best in you. May you steward this training season with clarity, purpose, and conviction. May the things you've been hoping for and praying for culminate into one glorious answer that takes your breath away. And may your faith become sight sooner than later. He's making a way where there's been no way. You can trust Him.
May you determine to travel lighter starting now. May you—with your God-given authority in Christ—demand that the enemy shut his mouth and leave you alone. May you discern the baggage of man-made obligations and lay them down. May you decide to fling aside your own self-condemning thoughts and wrap yourself up in God’s beautiful grace and righteousness instead. And, may you march on from here, full of faith, empowered by grace, and awakened by God’s love, and walk as one who’s been spoken for by God above. May your latter days be far more blessed than your former days. Jesus is always up to something new. Blessings on your weekend.
