Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Wednesday afternoon? Mom is doing pretty good. I have been up since 7 am & have done a few things to keep me busy. I made breakfast & coffee for Mark & I, did those dishes & then actually prepped some of dinner already. I did a couple of things around the apartment & now I am writing to you before I get to my studies again for the day. The weather is cloudy & rainy again. The sun was trying to shine but no luck. Guess later today the winds will pick up & be nasty. 25-35 mph winds until tomorrow evening. Mom is okay with that as long as we continue to have power. The temps outside are pretty nice. We have the balcony door open & I can hear the birds just chirping away. Mom hasn't even had the chance to get ready yet or take the pups out for a walk but I will after I get this letter done to you.
Not much went on last night. Mark & Mom had dinner & then we basically relaxed for the evening by watching TV. We were in bed by 10 pm & Mom was fast asleep shortly after that. Guess I was more tired than I thought I was. I did chat with Meme last night for a bit. She was in a much better mood than she was yesterday morning. I also got to chat with Aunt Beck for awhile as well. Her & John are well. They are getting excited for their trip. They leave in 11 days. She was telling me all that she has done to prepare for it & what she still needs to do. They have Forrest coming on Saturday for a night. She will be having a reading with him as well. I hope that you will come through for her. Mom would love to hear what you have been doing. I am excited for her & can't wait to hear about her reading & also hear about her trip when she returns! Mom has no doubt that you will be with her when she travels. Hope you leave her many signs along the way. Mom didn't chat with Grandpa last night but I will call him tonight & chat for a bit. I will give you those updates later. Mark is working away & is very busy as always. He is a hard working guy. He is good at what he does. I just wish that they were good to him. Maybe someday, right? Mom is finishing up with her exam & then I will be starting my final exam this week & hopefully will be done by the weekend or next week. I will be very happy to put this class behind me for good! I know you will continue to be with Mom just like you have been all along. I love you for that! Thank you. Tomorrow will be an exciting day for Mark as well. Details to come on tomorrows letter though. No spoilers just yet...lol! That is about all I have for you right now. It has been a very quiet day. No phones ringing or nothing.
Mom hopes that this evening will be everything that you need & want it to be. May you get the chance to do everything that you want to do. If you can please come & be with Mom or visit me in my sleep. Have fun though. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. I miss you like crazy. You still are my everything. Always you will be my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will be in my heart, mind, body & soul. Tonight, I will light the candle again for you. It will be shining bright just like I know that you are always. I will whisper to you like I always do so smile when you hear Mom & I will smile right back to you.
Here is the saying for the day:
" No one is coming to save you, to give you permission, to choose you, or validate you. This has always been your job. You must love yourself so fiercely & fully that you have no other choice but to be strong for yourself, to fight for yourself, to be yourself & to build yourself. "
Well, pumpkin it is already going on 20 minutes til 1 pm & I really need to get going so I can get a few hours of studying in for the day. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. I love you with all my heart my sweet precious son. Until tomorrow.... good night & sweet dreams later this evening.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here are the prayers for the day:
May you determine to travel lighter starting now. May you—with your God-given authority in Christ—demand that the enemy shut his mouth and leave you alone. May you discern the baggage of man-made obligations and lay them down. May you decide to fling aside your own self-condemning thoughts and wrap yourself up in God’s beautiful grace and righteousness instead. And, may you march on from here, full of faith, empowered by grace, and awakened by God’s love, and walk as one who’s been spoken for by God above. May your latter days be far more blessed than your former days. Jesus is always up to something new. Blessings to you this day!
: Here’s what’s true: If the devil can get you to doubt God’s provision, you’ll grab for yourself and miss the wonder of God’s goodness. If the devil can get you to doubt your worth, you’ll strive to prove yourself and miss the gift of God’s assurance and rest. If the devil can get you to doubt God’s timing, you’ll rush ahead and miss the wisdom of His ways. We grow deep and wise when we trust Him fully. And yet, and yet, if we miss God and we mess up, we can know that a plan is already in motion to redeem our story. We won’t get it right all of the time. But praise God; Jesus will never get it wrong on our behalf. We can trust Him. Rest tonight knowing that God is on your side. He guards and He guides. He’ll always provide. He sees you. He loves you. You can trust Him.
