Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Tuesday evening? Mom has had quite the busy day today. That's right... it is my Birthday! I am officially 47 years old as of 1:02 pm....lol! Mom has been basically on the computer & phone thanking everyone for the love & Birthday wishes that they are sending me. I have had numerous phone calls too from Meme, Aunt Beck, Bob, Aunt Donna, Auntie Kristina & Grandpa will call this evening as well. Mark has spoiled Mom & has treated me like a Princess today! I am blessed in so many ways. Thank you so much for the beautiful sunset last night & the sun today. That was a surprise. Now though is a different story. The clouds have rolled in & it is super dark out. We are in for some severe thunderstorms for the next few hours & also we are in a tornado watch until 9 pm. Mom is just hoping we will be safe during all this. Please watch over us, Tyler. Thank you.
Mom was saying earlier that not everyone can say they got all kinds of weather on their special day.... I have had sun, hot & humid temps in the 80's, now rain, thunder, lightning, hail & possible tornado.... dang! Mom is not going to stay on this computer for long though as the storms are starting. I can hear the thunder & lightning will be coming shortly. Mom decided to start cooking dinner earlier than normal & I am glad that I did. We will be eating shortly. Pups are all set but they are freaking out so mark & Mom will be sitting with them & keeping them feeling safe until it all passes. Tonight looks like an evening of just relaxing which is fine by me. After dinner, perhaps dessert & an adult beverage! some TV maybe in there as well. Bed early as tomorrow is another day of work for Mark & Mom has school. I hope that your evening is filled with everything that you need & want it to be. May you have fun while Mom is sleeping tonight. Come visit Mom in my dreams if you can or sit beside me during the night. Thank you my sweet precious son. I miss you so much & I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You will always be my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will live within my heart, mind, body & soul. Mom will whisper to you later this evening so listen for my voice. Smile & Mom will smile back to you. I will also light the candle in the kitchen for you. When you see it know that it is burning bright for you & in remembrance of you.
Mom isn't going to stay on here much longer as it is getting nasty out there. I will write you a longer letter tomorrow & tell you about my day today. Promise! Fly high & free, Tyler. Until tomorrow....... good night & sweet dreams my sweet precious son.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3, NIV
Father in heaven, may we recognize and acknowledge that you are God. You have made us, and not we ourselves, to be your people and the sheep of your pasture. Baptize us with the truth we need throughout our lives. Give us the gift to discern who we are and what we should become. Free our eyes from all deception so that we can no longer delude ourselves with short-lived, earthly things. Clear our eyes to see what is eternal in and around us. Make us children, true children, who awake to exult and rejoice in what is childlike and who give thanks to you, O God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
