Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is just finishing up studying for the day. I really only put in about 3 hours worth today because the phones were ringing off the hook. Today is Columbus Day so everyone had it off. Aunt Beck called me first thing this morning and we chatted for about 1 hour. It was good to catch up on things. All is well there with them. They had the grand kids with them for a few days so now she is playing catch up on other stuff. After that call, Mom got out of bed, got a few things situated in the apartment, did laundry, made breakfast, got ready and then studied. Meme called this afternoon and we chatted for over 90 minutes. She had the day off from work so it was nice to touch base with her. Things are okay there. Bob is still feeling the same way and sleeping a lot, Skittles is still the same with his back. Meme is tired from always working and doing all the rest on the weekends but she seemed to be chipper today. After we got off the phone, Mom continued to do her studies for a bit longer. It is now going on 4:45 pm. Mom will have to be thinking of feeding the pups and getting dinner going for us. Mark is still working so he will be done in about an hour. Tomorrow he starts his nights again after the 3 week hiatus from that customer. Mom will be studying half days and then packing up things for the other half before I get the night routine stuff going. It is going to be crazy busy the next 3 weeks that is for sure but well worth it in the end! Mom is really hoping to write to you every night. Some nights will be shorter letters than others but I will promise to write to you. I sure do miss you so much, Tyler. You are always on my mind and in my heart. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. To infinity and beyond.
Today is day 16 of the Fall/Autumn season and 14 out of the 16 days it has been gloomy, rainy and just depressing for weather. Today is no exception. It has been nasty out all day. Cold, dreary and miserable to say the least. I guess the sun may peek out a bit tomorrow and Wednesday it will be 80 degrees and sunny. Mom is looking forward to that. I am productive more on those kinds of days. I am wide awake and alert too. All this rain is just not good for Mom. Hoping for lots of sunny days to come for the rest of this season and before winter is here.
Not much else is new. Last night we had dinner, watched TV and had a skype call with Tubal and Karen. That was always fun. They are doing okay in Ohio. Tubal's eyesight is getting worse and they are working 7 days a week but they look good. We are hoping to go out that way to see them and soon. We need to. It is time. Mom hopes to have more updates for you during the week. For now that is all I have. Tonight will be Mom cooking dinner, relaxing for the night and going to bed early. Mom needs to get a good night sleep. Its been a couple of nights now that I have gotten so so sleep. Be with me and visit Mom in my dreams if you can. Have fun tonight and may your night be all that you need and want it to be. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. I have to get going as it is that time of the night where the pups are going crazy because they want they dinner and Mom really needs to start ours. Always remember that you are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. You are forever in my heart, mind, body and soul. Until tomorrow comes.... good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. 2 Peter 3:17–18, NIV
Lord our God, we thank you for giving us a strong fortress in Jesus, the only Lord, with whom we can oppose the whole raging, hateful, lawless, and cruel world. Come what may, we want to hold high the banner of Jesus Christ. In him we want to wait for the time when your mighty deeds will fully establish your kingdom for all nations on earth. You are our God and our Father. Protect us, and give light to our hearts so that we can always be joyful and can hope in you forevermore. Amen.
