Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? Mom is doing okay today. It has been a crazy fun day though. The weather is cold but the sun is shining and the skies are blue so I will take it! Last night or early this morning NH got snow. I saw the pictures and was like oh heck no...they can keep it there because I am not ready for that white stuff just yet but I guess it is coming faster than what any of us want at this point. In just 2 weeks it will already be November 1st. That is crazy! I think someone posted on social media that there were 11 Fridays until Christmas. That is not far away at all...yikes! Mom will concentrate on the holidays after we are moved and settled in...lol.
Mom was up at 7 am feeding the pups, making coffee and getting things ready for Mark on day 2 of his class. He is on his way home so we will have a descent time to have dinner tonight which will be nice. He thought he was going to be home tomorrow after 2 full days out but that is not the case. He is going to be at a customer site all day tomorrow as well. Poor Mark. He is exhausted from these last 2 days and now this. I hope that the 2 days that he is working next week are easy ones for him and he is working from home but time will tell on that one. Mom did school today from 9 am-11 am and then from 12 pm to 3:30 pm. I got quite a bit done today and I will continue working on it tomorrow while I am home. Hopefully by then I will have exam 3 finished and submitted by this time if not then it will be submitted on Monday. Anyway... Mom is slowly getting through this class. I will have 4 more exams to go to complete it. It is quite time consuming for sure though. I am learning a lot about the field that I want to get into though.
Today I also had to do an interview over the phone for school. I got to speak to someone I have not spoken to in 30+ years. She works in the field that Mom is interested in. It sure was nice to catch up with her on everything. Later Mom got ready and then had brunch. I did those dishes and then I started chatting with our cousin Jeffery. Later this afternoon I got to talk to him on the phone for almost 90 minutes. It was so nice to catch up with him and to see what has been going on in his life. Lots has changed. He has some major medical issues right now and some are severe. It was sad to hear about everything. He was once a model and doing things with famous celebrities and now he can barely walk. Mom is going to keep in close contact with him from now on and maybe take a trip to see him next year. Please watch over him for all of us. Thank you.
Mark just got home and it is 5 pm so you know what that means.... yup...time to feed the pups and get dinner going. Tonight Mom will call Grandpa to say hello and tomorrow I will call Aunt Beck to check in as this weekend is crunch time to pack the rest of the apartment up because moving day is 7 days away. We will be packing both Saturday and Sunday to get things finished up. We can do it. I have faith! Mom will be sure to have some updates for you either tomorrow or over the weekend. I sure hope that your evening is filled with things that you need to do and want to do. Come visit Mom if you can and have some fun while I sleep. The candle has been lit for you all day again and looks like a new one will be started either tonight or tomorrow. That is over 5 candles in 2 weeks. That is a lot. I will whisper to you later this evening as well so be listening for my voice. Smile and I will smile too. I miss you so much and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are in my heart, mind, body and soul. I will be back tomorrow so until then...good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
P.S. Sam I Am got in touch with Mom today. She got another tattoo of the cross that we gave her for Christmas 6 years ago. It came out great! She sent a picture so I will post it on here for you to see. I am sure you are smiling down on that. She misses you a lot too.
Here is the prayer for the day:
Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' Matthew 22:37–39, NIV
Lord our God, through your Spirit help us to live in love to you. Open our eyes to see your goodness and truth surrounding us your children, even in this troubled world. We look to you, Almighty Father. Protect us in these difficult times. We plead for our country, entrusting it to your care so that love to you may be awakened. Where shall we turn except to you? Where shall we find help except in Jesus Christ, whom you have sent to us to win the victory, to subdue and end all evil in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, and to become Lord, to the glory of your name? Amen.
