Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Tuesday afternoon? Mom is doing okay but it was another night of not much sleep at all again. Not sure what is going on but I really could use a good nights sleep tonight. Mom wanted to start doing the half days of studying and the other half of packing but that didn't happen today so maybe tomorrow it will. The boxes that we ordered came in today so we have a total of 50 boxes to pack our stuff. Sure hoping that will be enough but who knows because the boxes are pretty small. This weekend will be the 2 days that we pack all day long and see where we are after that. Mom is thinking that a lot will get done which will be a huge help so that next weekend we can tackle the worst of it and that is all the glass and kitchen stuff! That is going to take some time so we need it! Anyways.... all day today Mom has been studying and then I was moving along and I hit a spot where I am stumped and confused so I emailed my instructor to get some insight and I couldn't go further because that was the last question of the exam. Hopefully she will get back to me later today and then I can work on it again tomorrow. Mom's goal was to be finished with all my courses by the end of the month but seeings how that there is only 22 days left, that is not going to happen so November it is! That is okay. That coding course set me back a bit but no rushing anymore! I will complete it when I do.
Today was suppose to be a day that the sun was out and no gloomy weather but that didn't happen either. No rain but no sun either. Rain is in the forecast again for us Thursday and Friday due to the hurricane that is down in Florida. We will be getting the rain and wind but nothing like they are getting or what is coming. I pray for them all and their safety. This year has been average for tropical storms and hurricanes. It is better than last year. They all had one right after the other just like we did with snow storms. 6 weeks straight with a Nor'Easter. That was horrible. Oh... the sun just peeked out! That was a nice surprise. Mom can't believe that it is already going on 5 pm. Mom has to feed the pups and then get dinner for myself. Mark is back to working his nights for the next couple of weeks again. Hope they go by fast for him and me. When he is done though he will have those 7 days off for the move. Mom is hoping to do the majority of it so that he can relax and just do the technology parts.... computers, phones, cable, etc... Mom will handle the rest. It takes forever to pack but less time for me to unpack for some reason! I know you will be with us every step of the way so I am not worried one bit! Mom might start packing some things tonight while Mark is working.
I have no updates for you at all. I will touch base with everyone during the week and over the weekend. They know that we are busy here. Today is Debbie's birthday though so make sure to go see her and send her a sign to let her know you are around! Thanks pumpkin! Charlie chatted with Mom on line for a bit this afternoon. I really had nothing to say to him. He only messages me if he is bored or has nothing to do. He is still recovering from his surgery he had 8 days ago. This is the first time he has reached out and I never ever hear from Marion. I never thought either of them would become so distant to me but I guess it goes to show that people really do change. It hurt Mom in the beginning but now I am just so used to it. I have no feelings about the subject anymore. It is what it is. I spoke to Charlie briefly but that was it. Maybe a total of 10 minutes. All will be okay though. Mom is starting to really realize that keeping a smaller circle is for the best. I have even cut down on my "friends" on social media. I have nothing against anyone at all and I don't dislike them but if I don't chat with them on a regular basis then I let them go. I started with over 1,000 and then cut it to 400 and now I cut it again to 250. It felt great to get a smaller circle going. I really hope I don't offend anyone though because that was and is not my intention.
Mom needs to get going for now because it is after 5 pm and the pups, well Ozzy is going nuts...lol. That boy is always hungry. Princess is just like he name. Dainty and a sweet girl. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. I sure hope you come visit me in my dreams or sit next to me tonight while I sleep. Have fun though. Always remember that you are the wind beneath my wings and that you are my true hero my sweet precious son. You are forever in my heart, mind, body and soul. I miss you beyond words can say and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. The candle is lit for you and I will whisper to you later tonight so smile for me and I will smile for you. Until tomorrow comes.... good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer of the day:
They were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps that God had given them and singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: "Lord God Almighty, how great and wonderful are your deeds! King of the nations, how right and true are your ways! Who will not stand in awe of you, Lord? Who will refuse to declare your greatness? You alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship you, because your just actions are seen by all." Revelation 15:2b–4, TEV
O Lord God, we thank you that in our times we may feel and see that you are at work. This is a joy and comfort to us and we take heart, although the misery on earth sometimes brings us to tears. We find joy again because you are at work. You are carrying out your will, which includes your plan for our life and salvation. Grant that fruits may appear in our times, for our times are in your hands. Grant that many people from all nations may come to you. May they turn to you in their need and know the happiness of receiving your help. May your name be honored, your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.
