Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Tuesday afternoon? Mom is doing okay but we are all very tired here to say the least. Last night when Mom was getting the bed ready for the night I happened to turn my head at the right time and I found this huge spider crawling on the headboard by my pillow. That thing was nasty looking and it creeped me out so bad that the rest of the evening I was itching and when it was time for bed I could not stop thinking about it and wondering if there were more that I didn't find so I did not sleep at all. Mark's alarm went off at 4 am so that he could get up and get ready for his cutover this morning at 6 am. Mom finally got 2 hours of sleep from 5-7 am. I had to get up to feed the pups and then I lounged in bed for a couple hours before getting up and starting my day. I did laundry and then got ready and made breakfast. By the time that was all done and finished Mark was home. I felt so bad for him as all the work that was done 5 days of going to the site and then the 6th time this morning the cut failed and didn't work so that means all that time is out the window and he has to start from scratch again and that also means another cut again. I hope it is not any time soon that's for sure. No one realizes that just because Mark is the one physically getting up and going to do these, it disrupts everyone in the house...me, the pups, etc... It is not fun for either him or eye. The pups can sleep all day long but neither of us can. Anyways... to say the least, tonight will be a very early night so that we can get the sleep that we need. Please be with Mom so that can happen my sweet precious son. Thank you. The rest of Mom's day was writing out the answers to my exam for my first class. I have a few more to go and this one will be finished. I am hoping that this class does not take me that long to do. Hopefully by next week I will be finished but not sure. Mom has 4 weeks to complete 5 courses. I can do this! No problem!
It is already 4:55 pm. The pups are going nuts because they want to be fed and Mark is catnapping at the moment until our dinner is finished. Tonight is one of your absolute favorites that we used to have.... Willow Tree Pie. Remember those chicken pot pies that you loved? Yup that is what we are having over rice. We don't have them that often but today is another cold, wet, raw day outside. It has rained for the past 2 days and more to come tomorrow as well. This weather is so depressing. We are all wondering when we are going to be seeing the sun again. According to the weather we might have some thunderstorms tonight and into the morning and maybe some sunshine late afternoon tomorrow. Sure hope so.
Mom has no updates for you at all today. Last night the phones were quiet and same for today. Mom did find out that Charlie's surgery went well and that he got home last night. Marion messaged me quickly to let me know and my response was just as quick.... thanks for the update and give him our best. That was all I wrote and didn't continue to chat. She doesn't have time for me ever and I will no longer make the time for her either. I have things to do and from now on I am busy. I will use her excuse! Oh yeah Meme called to say hi today. She is doing good and so is Bob. That was nice to hear. I will touch base with Grandpa and Debbie tomorrow night when we both have had some sleep. Mom has had the candle lit for you all day today and it will continue to burn until I go to bed tonight. I will whisper to you later as well so be listening for Mom's voice and smile when you here me. I will smile back to you too. I miss you so much and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. Forever you are in my heart, mind, body and soul. You will always be the wind beneath my wings and my hero. Have a good night tonight and have fun. Visit me in my dreams if you can. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. Mom has to go for now though to get the night stuff going. Until next time.... good night and sweet dreams my bright shining star.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Psalm 31:1–2, NIV
Lord our God, give us your Spirit, we beseech you, that we may find your paths on earth and live in the hope and certainty that everything is in your hands, even when we see much that is unjust and evil. May we remain under your protection, living by your commandments and in your Spirit. For your Spirit witnesses to the truth and longs to change and lift up our lives. Your Spirit longs to reach all people who have felt your touch, longs that they may come to you and have life. Amen.
