Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on the 11 day of this New Year? It is late Friday evening and Mom just got done submitting her final exam in this course. It is after 5:30 pm. The pups were fed but I haven't even started on dinner yet. I wanted to write to you while the oven was preheating and dinner was cooking. Multi-tasking is the way to go!
So Mom's day started out later than expected. I woke up at 8:30 am. I was pretty tired I guess. I did get about 6 hours of restful sleep and 2 hours of light sleep. That is pretty good! Mark fed the pups for me and I lounged in bed so that I could wake up. After that I got up, made the bed, got ready and then I made a nice breakfast. We ate, I did the dishes and then came right in and started on my studies. In the last couple of days, Mom was able to do an exam which I got a 93 on, and took 2 final exams which I got a 100 and a 96 on. I have completed 21 courses now...19 of them are A's and 2 are B's. My GPA is now a 94.5 % or better. I will be starting my new class Monday which is Advanced Coding and then Mom will have 1 more course and then it is Graduation. Finally it is coming to a complete end for this Associates Degree. I know I should have been finished way before now but I procrastinated on 2 courses and took almost a complete year off. No matter what, Mom is very proud of what and all that I have accomplished to this point. What a way to start the weekend off. Oh yeah... the sunset was so beautiful this evening. What a stunning painting in the sky from you. You worked hard at that and it made Mom smile so big. I took so many pictures of it. I will post a couple on here tonight. Thank you for that. You definitely made my day and night.
Today I was able to chat with Aunt Beck. She called me and we talked for an hour. We caught up on a lot of things which was so nice. She sure is busy busy these days and she has a few things that she is working on. Small things and some pretty big things as well. I sure hope it goes in her favor. I will be sending her positive energy through it all. I know you will be by her side too. Bean is still doing the same. She did however by a new vehicle. She is really happy with it too. I am happy for her. She is however frustrated with all the medical things that are going on. I wish that there would be a break through for her and soon. I know you are with her as well. You two were always close. I think Mom will call her this weekend or next week to say hello and catch up with her. I still have her Christmas gifts here. I need to send them out. I will touch base with Grandpa and Meme over the weekend too. Tomorrow Mark and Mom are going to go out for awhile and Sunday we will be staying home. Mom plans on doing laundry, housework and making a nice dinner and dessert. Next week will be very busy for Mark. He will be working all week and all next weekend. Mom is scared because he has to travel next weekend and be gone for a long time and it is suppose to be a bad storm. I am nervous for him. Please be with him and Mom when that time comes. Thank you my sweet precious son. It means so much to me.
I sure hope you have a fun night while Mom is sleeping. I do hope that you get the chance to visit me in my dreams. I have had 2 candles lit for you all day today. I whispered to you when I was lighting them so I hope you heard me. I will whisper to you later as well. Smile for me and I will smile for you. I need to get going to finish up dinner seeing how it is after 6 pm. Another late dinner. Last night we ate after 7:30 pm because Mark didn't get home until then. Good thing it was chef salads. The rest of the evening will be watching TV and then going to bed early for our outing tomorrow. Mom will write to you later in the evening on my iPad because I will not turn on my computer. I miss you more than words and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my superhero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Until tomorrow comes...good night and sweet dreams pumpkin!
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer for the day:

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1, RSV
Our dear Father, we ask you to come to us from heaven and surround us with your goodness and mercy, with your light and life. We are weak, poor, and lost just when we need to stand firm and hold on. But you are faithful. You stay by us and help us. Continue to help and sustain us, we pray. Do not let our lives be lived in vain. May something of eternity be with us in all we have to face in life, so that over and over again we may find courage to start anew. Amen.
