Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is doing alright so far! Today is a special day for 2 reasons... One it is Meme's Birthday and second it is Princess' Birthday as well! we celebrated Meme's Birthday all weekend long which was really nice and today we are making Princess' day extra special for her. She turned 15 years old and in dog years she is 105! Wow...huh? She is still going strong and she is still very healthy for her age. We won't say how old Meme is though as that is not nice, but she is doing good too.... Both ladies have had a relaxing day so far. The weather is beautiful. It is in the upper 60's low 70's and the sun is shining bright! Princess has been lounging around between my office and Mark's. Meme has been relaxing outside in the sun, watching a movie in her room or just relaxing in general. Mom made her breakfast this morning and will be making dinner tonight as well. Mark has been working away all day. He is on a conference call right now though. I think Meme and Bob are outside by the pool and Mom is writing to you. After I am done I will go sit outside for a few to enjoy the sunshine. Mark and Mom took the pups out for a nice walk earlier after lunch and it was so nice. We will be taking them for another one after they have their dinner and before we eat. we have been trying to walk them outside 3 to 4 times a day and the only time they need a small puppy pad is during the evening (sleeping hours). It is working out wonderful and they love the sun. They are actually asking for the door when they have to go out too. That is a huge bonus from when we lived up North. Mark and Mom are happy about this! I think they are adjusting just fine living down here and I know they do not miss the cold or snow! This weather is good for all of our old and tired bones...lol! 
 Last night the Superbowl was exciting. It was quite the game. The 49ers scored first and then the Chiefs did. Half time it was a tied game 10-10. The half time show I thought was going to be amazing and I was looking forward to it but honestly it sucked. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira were the performers and they did not sing much of anything that I knew. The neat part was when Jennifer Lopez's 11 year old daughter joined her on stage and sang with her Mom. That was cool. After the half time show was over, the 49ers were just scoring back to back to back. It was all the way until there was 5 minutes left of the game and something snapped with the Chiefs. They got 2 touchdowns and won the game 31-20. Mom won the bet. It was a very good game. A nail bitter at times. Everyone thought the 49ers were going to win it. Bet your Dad was not impressed. I don't ever really hear from him anymore. I see him post things on facebook from time to time but it is usually about his motorcycle or he is drinking at some bar. No pictures that I ever see are with Amy and the kids. I have a feeling that she is not there with him and she is in California still. Weird but if it works for them then that is what counts. I am not going to judge anyone or anyone's lifestyle. I know nothing about it and it is non of my business either. I hope that he is doing well. I am sure that you watch over him just like you do all of us. There is no doubt in my mind. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. You were always a sweet soul when you were here with us and I know you are even more of a sweeter soul now. You are forever in my heart, mind, body and soul. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. 
 Tonight will be all about whatever Meme would like to do. If she wants to watch a movie then we will, if she wants to be alone then that is what we will do. I know there will be dinner, clean up and then relaxing. I don't think Mark is feeling well today. He looks a bit pale and tired. He said earlier he was not feeling 100%. Hopefully as the day goes on he is doing better. Mom's fingers are crossed. 
 The pups are sleeping in my office right now. They are soaking up the sun that is coming in through the windows. Mom thinks it is cute. I love it when they are in here with me. Princess usually is with Mark most of the time but lately she likes to be in here with Mom. I keep snapping pictures of them and they get fussy as I guess I am disturbing them so I now just try to sneak them....lol. 
 It is already after 2:30 pm. Today is going by so fast. Tomorrow is the day that Meme and I go out for our nail appointment and it is when we do some retail therapy as well. It is fun and I look forward to spending that quality time with her. The weather is going to be in the 80's and by Wednesday it is going to be 90 degrees. Whoa! It is getting us prepared for the weather that is coming in the next few months... actually in 2 months. Pretty soon it will be hot, sticky and muggy here every day so we are enjoying the last of the cooler days. Usually May, through October is 90-100 degrees daily. Mom is looking forward to being outside a lot of that time in the shade by the pool. It will be nice to swim. we have had some major problems with our pool guy since we moved here so over the weekend we let him go and we are going to try and take a stab at maintaining the pool ourselves. Mom had one growing up and Meme knows a bit about it all so I think we can do this. We need to get the pool in tip top shape for the hot months. Right now we have basically wasted our money on a pool guy who is not doing anything for it. We would say something and then he would say he would do it and never did or he would just ignore us altogether. Enough is enough. Mark and I have started to get the things we need for it, like a brush, a skimmer (a net) and we have ordered a vacuum. We have started to put a bunch of chemicals in it and get the PH test strips to check the levels, etc.... It is a start and we have a long ways to go but I think we can really handle this and save a lot of money! Mom will keep you posted on it. 
 Aunt Beck called Meme for her Birthday. I did not talk to her at all. They talked for a bit though. Mark and Mom had lunch and then went for a walk with the pups to give them privacy. By the time we got back she was off the phone. Aunt Beck told Meme the good and exciting news of theirs. Pretty soon I can say something about it but still not right now. Mom doesn't have any other updates for you at all right now other than I am working on getting airline tickets for Grandpa and Debbie. Johnny is willing to drive them down to the airport so that is awesome. It is all coming together slowly. Hopefully by the end of this week I will have the dates and the tickets purchased for them and the rest is just easy stuff. Mom will again keep you posted on everything.
 It is time though for Mom to close this letter to you. I have a few things that I am needing to do before it is time to make dinner, etc... I have about 1.5 hours to get it all done. Not much time I can do it! I am not worried at all. I will light your candle in a little bit and I will whisper to you tonight before I fall asleep. Smile for me and I will smile for you. Have fun while we all get some sleep. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. Mom would love that my sweet precious son. I will be back tomorrow afternoon or evening with another letter to you so until then...good night and sweet dreams. I miss you more than words can say.
