Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this rainy evening that we are having? Hope where you may be it is sunny & still warm. Today was just a chilly nasty day for us & tomorrow will be the same way. Mark stayed home today as he was feeling tough. Sounds like he is starting to come down with a cold. Hope not, but if so Mom hopes that is all it is. Can you please be with the both of us, Ty? Thank you my sweet precious son.
Mom got some sad news tonight. My high school Biology teacher, Mr. Grumman passed away a few hours ago. He was such a sweet man. he was the one who gave Mom her nickname Smurfette. He had open heart surgery a week or so ago & I guess things went well at 1st but then started to go downhill. He was well known in our town of Claremont. If you see him & are introduced to him, please let him know that Mom...aka...Smurfette says he will be missed by so many family & friends. May he forever fly high & free now just like you....pain free!
Tonight starts the kickoff for the official NFL football season of the year. It is the Patriots vs Steelers. I know you are rooting for the Patriots & Mom is too. Hope they win as their preseason games were not that great. Think they won 1 game. Mom misses watching football with you. You used to yell at me because I would yell at the tv...lol. Those were the times along with so many more that I miss so much. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world.
No real updates for you today...sorry. Grandpa called & he & Debbie are doing well. They are coming down to see Mom & mark on Saturday. It will be the 1st time for them both to come down & see where we live. We are excited. Wish Meme & Bob would come down. Maybe soon. Mom would love for them to just get away for a bit & enjoy life.
Mom has been wanting to tell you for sometime now, but it has been difficult for me to do so, but at the end of the month Mom, Mark, Grandpa & Debbie are going to Florida for a vacation. It will be the 1st time Mom has been back there since we went in 2010. It is going to be so hard for Mom in so many ways but I know that you will make your presence known to Mom & show me that you are with me the entire time. We are doing a couple things like Magic Kingdom & Sea World again but we are also doing some things that we have never done before. Mark has not been there in like 35+ years. Grandpa & Debbie really wanted to go back so that is why we decided to take them. It will be nice to get away but Mom knows there will be so many tears shed during that time away. Mom will keep you posted on everything.
here is the daily prayer for today. September 10~ And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, & in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, & prospered. The angels do your work, Father. I want to do it too. You made me a person, not an angel. I can't fly through time or travel the universe, but I am willing to do whatever I can. Help me see your agenda & stick to the plan.
Tomorrow is such a day of remembering as it is September 11th.....the day the United States was attacked by terrorists & the Twin Towers fell to the ground. So many lost their lives in that tragedy..... workers, medical professionals, & people just walking by. So hard to believe that it was 14 years ago. Our hearts remain heavy because of it all. Tomorrow Mom will write to you, give you the daily prayer & a couple other ones for this sad day.
I know Mom will not be seeing any stars & the moon shining in the sky as it is still raining out. Doesn't matter though as you are shining bright for someone somewhere & you will always be my shining star, the twinkle in my eyes. Mom will whisper to you later this evening. Hope you can hear me. May your evening be full of things for you to do. All that you want & need to get done. Hope you have some fun too. Rest if you can & if you do sweet dreams pumpkin. Hope I see you in my own dreams tonight. Please continue to watch over us all. Thank you. I miss you bunches & love you beyond life itself. You are forever in my heart, mind & soul.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
