Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Saturday afternoon? Mom is doing pretty good today! The weather is amazing today. It is blue skies, sunny and 80 degrees with a nice little breeze. Couldn't ask for a better day! Mom was up early this morning. Got ready and out the door Mark and I went to go get my nails done, wash his vehicle, go to the store to grab a couple things, and then to the mall to pick up Father's Day gifts for Grandpa and Bob. We left at 10:15 am and we were back at 2 pm. we got home and Mom put everything away and then we decided to take the pups for a nice long walk. Now Mom is writing to you and getting an early start to cooking dinner. Later, Mark is going to play his game with his brother in the UK while Mom relaxes on the couch while watching some on my DVR shows that Mark doesn't like. Sunday will be a day to basically do whatever as nothing is planned and it will be another beautiful day. It really felt good to not get up this morning and get right to studying. Mom did a lot this week. Studied everyday...Monday through Friday and I submitted 5 exams. Monday and Tuesday will be the same way, a break on Wednesday and on Thursday I will have a proctor exam. Those are the exams that are timed and Mom will have no idea what it will be like. I have done 2 in the past and I can say that I hate them with a passion. They suck. You can't leave your chair for the whole duration of the exam at all..... not even to go to the bathroom. Mom has one every semester. I will have one more after this. Please be with Mom while I am taking this exam and help me out to get a descent grade. Any questions that are not answered are incorrect. They are tough and Mom will do the best she can. I will keep you posted.
Last night was quiet just like I thought it would be. Grandpa or Meme did not call at all which I was surprised. I will call them later tonight after dinner. Aunt Beck is teaching a class today so I will try to chat with her tomorrow or Monday at the latest. I guess everything is going well for everyone. I haven't heard from no one since Tuesday. Mark and Mom did get a wedding invite to one of Mark's best friends, Dave. He is getting married in July so we will be going there to NH for that weekend. That will be fun. Mom wanted you to know because we are having to do that I will not be able to come up there for you Angelversary. Mom is upset about that but we just don't have the money to do it. It is very expensive for Mark and Mom to go there because we have to stay in a hotel. I know you are not upset with me, it is Mom is upset with herself. I will promise to do something here on the 20th for you. I just don't know what right now. Mom misses you so much my sweet precious son. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero, my bright shining star and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will be in my heart, mind, body and soul. Mom is hoping that your evening tonight will be everything that you would like it to be and need it to be. Come visit Mom in my dreams if you can. That would be wonderful. I will light the candle in a little bit for you and I will whisper to you later on this evening. It is only 4 pm so it is pretty early. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you and hopefully some updates for you as well. I need to get going to finish up dinner. We decided to eat early tonight. Works for Mom...lol! Until then..... good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17, NIV
Lord our Savior, you are our Lord and our Helper. Show yourself again and again in our hearts as the Savior who is strong to help us even in difficult times. Remember the many people who sigh to you. Guide them into the protection of the almighty God. Even if they suffer pain and distress and have to go through fear and anxiety, even if they die, Lord Jesus, you are comfort and help. In everything life brings us you will show yourself as the One who does the will of God and who carries it out for us on earth. Amen.
