Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Wednesday evening? Mom is doing okay today. I just got done another full day of studying. I didn't do too shabby at all. I submitted 3 exams today and received 90's on all of them. Tomorrow will be a final exam again and then I will be down to 8 courses before I am finished and graduate! Mom is psyched on that. I can't believe that it is already 5 pm. Mark is still working and I need to get off my computer to feed the pups and then prep and make our dinner for this evening, but before I do that I wanted to take a few minutes to write to you.
The weather today has been pretty nice. It is somewhat humid out with cloudy skies. Mom turned the AC off because I was so cold and opened the balcony door for a little bit. I am sure that Mark will want it turned on soon as he is probably sweating. He is still working as well. He literally has been on the phone all day long from 9 am and is still going. He was up early this morning and was so sweet to go inspect my vehicle for me. It is once again a legal beagle. Mom slept better last night but still not all that great. I was awake several times and had a hard time falling back to sleep but I have more energy today so that is a bonus. I was up at 8 am and lounged in bed for an hour looking at email, etc... then I was up, made breakfast, got ready and started right in on studying. Tomorrow I am suppose to have a nail appointment but I will see how I feel in the morning and either go to it or cancel for the weekend. Mom still is on the antibiotic and will be until Saturday afternoon. I like to stay close so that I am drinking a lot of water. I am definitely feeling so much better and the second round of medicine I believe is taking care of everything. That is a very good thing! Mom is pleased with that.
I don't have any updates for you at all today. The phones were quiet last night and all day today they were. That was a good thing for Mark. We are probably going to have dinner and just relax for the evening by sitting outside and then coming in and watching a little TV before lights out and it is sleep time for the night. Tomorrow Mark is booked solid again as well so he needs his rest. The weekend is almost here again. This week has flown by. Today is August 1st. 4 more weeks until the kiddos go back to school and everything shuts down for the summer. Football will be starting in 4 weeks as well. Fall will be here before we know it and winter too..ugh! Mom and Mark are looking to transfer to another apartment in this community or looking to move altogether. The noise level and the fireworks are just too much now for the pups. They are always scared and that is not fair to them at all. We are ready for a change again as it has been 4 years now. Mom will keep you posted as we know what is going on.
I sure hope that tonight you have a wonderful and fun evening as Mom is sleeping. Come visit if you can or sit next to me while I sleep. I hope that you get to do all kinds of neat things that you would like to do or need to do. I know you will be shining bright for someone else who needs it. Mom is hoping to see a pretty sunset soon. It has been awhile so I know you are very busy. Maybe you will surprise me in the next couple nights! That sure is a hint my sweet precious son....lol! I will light the candle for you in a bit and I will whisper to you like I always do so be listening out for my voice. Smile for me and I will smile for you too. I miss you more than words can say and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero, the wind beneath my wings and my bright shining star that always lights the paths for me. Thank you so much. You will always be in my heart, mind, body and soul.
Mom needs to get going for now so that I can feed the pups and get dinner started but I will be back with another letter to you tomorrow so until then..... good night and sweet dreams, Tyler.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the daily prayer:
However, as the scripture says, "What no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love him." But it was to us that God made known his secret by means of his Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:9–10a, TEV
Lord our God, bless us all through your Spirit, that we may find certainty of heart in community with you under your rulership. May we keep this certainty, whatever course our lives may take, whatever battles and suffering may come to us, for we belong to you and you rule and guide us as your children. Watch over all who are still far away from you but who long for you. Watch over all who are good-hearted and sincere, even if they often do not understand you. Protect them, and let your kingdom come so that your will is carried out more and more by the many who feel compelled to seek for you and for the goodness and truth which are your will. May we and many others serve you with our whole lives. Amen.
