Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Wednesday evening? It is already 5 pm and Mom is just getting done studying. I was able to be up early this morning and go over the questions that I had on my exam and then submit it. There were 20 questions and Mom got 2 wrong... that was a 92%! I was so shocked but happy! My grade is sitting at an 86 ~ B right now so no matter how I do on the final I will pass the course overall. I am super excited. Mom took the rest of the day and high-lighted things in my textbook as that is the only thing that I can have along with my coding book for the proctor exam. That is scheduled for Friday morning. Please be with me as I take it and then I know I will do really well on it. Tomorrow I will finish up the high-lighting and then I will be ready. Mark was gone all day long today at a customer site so it was quiet here for the most part. The weather turned out better than expected. The sun has been in and out all day long and right now it is out again. We were suppose to get rain today with some thunderstorms but I guess they bypassed us. We might get some rain and storms later though. They call for it between 8 pm- 12 midnight.
Mom and Mark hardly got any sleep last night. I don't know what is going on with Princess but she is chewing and licking constantly. I don't know why though. She does not have fleas, obviously and I don't visually see anything so I am thinking it is dry skin. I am hoping she chills out tonight so that we can sleep. Mom may give her one of her relaxation pills to see if that helps as well. Ozzy is fine and poor guy didn't get much sleep either. Guess it will be early to bed tonight for us all. That is fine by me!
Last night the phones again were so quiet. We did not get any calls at all. We watched TV and had dinner and dessert. It was nice. I will try to touch base with everyone tomorrow because Friday I will be busy all day and then it is the weekend and that is busy for us as well. Tonight we will have a nice dinner and then maybe go for a walk with the pups and then relax. Mom loves these kinds of nights. I miss the nights we would have as well...either playing a game, listening to music, watching a movie or TV or being outside if it was nice. I miss you so much my sweet precious son. My heart hurts every day since you have been gone. Mom can't believe that it has been 5 years, 3 months and 6 days. Mom has never been the same and never will be the same again. You took my heart with you. You continue to live within and inside my heart, mind, body and soul but you know it is not the same thing. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will always be my hero and the wind beneath my wings!
It is now 5:45 pm and the pups have been fed, dinner has been prepped and it is now in the oven cooking. We should be eating dinner around 6:15 pm. Mark is on the phone right now have a very important conversation with a gentleman.... Mom will fill you in on that tomorrow...promise! I sure do hope that you have a relaxing evening tonight and that you can have some fun as well. Come visit Mom if you can in my dreams or sit next to me so that I can get some sleep. Thank you! The candle is burning bright for you and Mom will whisper to you later this evening so smile for me and I will return that smile right to you. I will be back tomorrow with another letter so until then good night and sweet dreams my bright shining star!
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20, RSV
Lord our God, we are your children, who come before you and stand in your presence. Be with us and be our light in all situations of life, in all hardships and grief. Be our light, as you have always been. Reveal your power so that the world may know you as we have come to know you. Give us joyful readiness to persevere until your day comes, for the brightness of your day will shine through all darkness and will end all evil, to the glory of your name. Amen.
