Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Friday evening? Mom has been up since early this morning and going all day long! The weather today has been pretty nice and cool for the most part with some sunshine but that all changed about 2 hours ago. It is now dark, overcast and the wind is roughly 20 mph and will continue all through the night into Saturday morning. Mom sure is hoping for a nice weekend. Mark and I plan on going out tomorrow for a bit and then staying home on Sunday to watch football and so that Mom can cook and bake for that day! Overall it will be a nice weekend regardless of the weather. Mark needs to have Sunday to relax as he is going to be doing a cutover on Monday. Those days are always long for him.
Today, Mom got up at 6:45 am and fed the pups, got coffee going for Mark, lounged in bed for a bit and then made a nice brunch for us, did the dishes, got ready and then came in and started studying for the rest of the day. Mom looked at some videos to see if it would help me out with this next part of my course and then I started doing the next exam. I am almost completely done it. I have 10 questions left. I will finish that up over the weekend maybe and then look it over on Monday and then submit it. I have 1 more exam after that and then it is the proctor exam which is my final. Looks like that will happen sometime next week. Mark worked all day and has finally stopped for the night. Pups are fed and Mom has prepped dinner. It will be done in about 20 minutes. Not much at all to tell you about any updates. The phones are really quiet. Mom did chat with Grandpa last night. Debbie sounded great and she is already up, driving and doing all kinds of things. She is not over doing it or lifting which is a biggie. Mom told her that she is going to be so bored because she has 6 weeks off to recover. Grandpa sounded good. We told them that we would call them tonight to check in. Haven't heard anything on Uncle Dick in the last 2 days but I will check in with them over the weekend.
Mom is hoping that your evening will be filled with so many wonderful and new things for you to learn, places for you to go to and everything and anything else that you want it to be. If you can come visit Mom in my dreams or sit beside me while I sleep tonight. Mom sure does miss you more than words can say. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. I will whisper to you as I always do so be listening out for my voice. Smile for me when you hear Mom and I will be sure to smile back to you. A brand new candle was started this afternoon for you. It has been burning since 12 noon. It is Teakwood and White Sage but really Mom can not smell anything so that is pretty disappointing but regardless I love to burn candles as you know! This one is a pretty good size so it will burn for maybe a week. Please always remember that you are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. You will forever live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Mom will be back to write to you again tomorrow afternoon when we return from our day out. Mom needs to get going so that I can pay some bills and do the grocery shopping before dinner is done. Until tomorrow comes my sweet precious son...good night and sweet dreams.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer for the day:

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." John 7:37–38, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for sending down powers from on high into our earthly life. We thank you for sending us a higher nature in which we can live for others because we are living by what we receive from you. May we be simple, childlike, and trusting. When anyone despairs of himself, show him the way to the Savior so that he can find trust. Show to us the way of trust, trust for ourselves and for all people, because it is your will for all to receive help. Amen.
