Dear Tyler,

Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Sunday late afternoon? It is already 4:30 pm and Mom is just sitting down to turn my computer to write to you and then it is going right back off for the night. Mark and Mom have been very busy today. we were up at 7 am and out of bed by 9 am. Mom made a good breakfast....scrambled eggs, bagels and sausage patties with coffee for Mark and juice for Mom. After that was done Mom did the dishes and then got right to redoing the pantry. That took me over 90 minutes to complete. Meme called as I was finishing up so I chatted with her for about 30 minutes. After that call was finished I went back to making the bed, and tidying up the apartment. Next on the list was breaking down all the boxes in the garage and gathering the trash up. Mark took it to the dumpsters while I vacuumed the downstairs hallway and stairs. Finished that up and came back upstairs and gave both pups baths, did laundry, took a shower finally...lol and then Mark and Mom went over things that we needed to do to start the process of getting a home to call our own. We have been putting it off for a bit but we are both in agreement that it is time. We have found a couple houses that we really like. They are about 1800-2000 sq ft and has 3 beds/2.5 baths. Perfect size for us! We will take a weekend to go looking at the neighborhood to see what that is like. Either we do this in a couple months or it will have to wait until next year at this time. Either way we are good and in a better spot than last year. We can move during the winter as well and break our lease but we would prefer not to if we can avoid it. Mom will keep you updated on things as they progress. After that was all finished , Mom prepped dinner and it is in the oven and we will be eating at a descent hour tonight. It is homemade meatloaf...Mark's request with mashed potatoes and veggie. Dessert tonight will be banana cream pie and the truffle will be made tomorrow while Mark is at a customer site doing a cutover all day. Mom will be home all day studying and finishing up her exam and starting the next chapters and exam. Looks like the proctor exam will be at the end of the week for Mom and then this course will be finished! There is a ray of sunshine for me...lol! Anyways, tonight will be all about watching football and going to bed early. Right now the Cowboys are playing and then later the Patriots. Just to let you know your Dolphins won their game again today! So happy! Hoping the Cowboys will win as well!
Mom's chat with Meme was good today. She went to a few stores and shopped. Mom has taken her to the stores when they are here to visit and she just loves it so much... Mom created a monster...lol! The stores have recently opened up in West Leb so not to far from where they live....you remember West Leb? It is where we would go to bring you to Wendy's! It is about 30 minutes from their house. Nice drive during this time of year with the trees turning all kinds of colors. Meme seemed to be in good spirits today which was nice to hear. Bob was doing well too. Skittles is not doing well again though. He hurt is back again and it not responding to the medicine very well. Meme will be calling the vets this week to see what else can be done. Poor little guy. Please watch over him for Meme and Bob. Skittles is such a sweetheart of a dog! Please watch over us all if you can. Thank you so much. Mom is hoping that you will have a chance to visit me in my dreams tonight. I hope that your evening is all that you want and need it to be. Have fun while Mom gets some sleep. I will be whispering to you just like I always do every night so smile when you hear me and I will smile back. The candle has been burning all day for you. BTW... Mom saw the painting in the sky last night. It was beautiful. It made me smile so big and I thanked you so I hope you heard Mom. The sun is now rising where I can see it from my bedroom window so I know I will get to see amazing sunrises and I am ready for them. I will take pictures and post them on here when I capture them. It is almost 5 pm now and Mom needs to feed the pups and finish up our dinner. I will be back tomorrow morning though to write to you. I miss you beyond words and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever in my heart, mind, body and soul is where you will live. Until tomorrow comes my sweet precious son... good night and sweet dreams.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is today's prayer:

Therefore it is said, "When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men." Ephesians 4:8, RSV
Our dear Father in heaven, we thank you that you have given us the Lord Jesus on high and that we are allowed to be with him and find joy even while still surrounded by all that must fade and perish. For in Jesus Christ you hold us by the hand through anxiety, need, and death. Grant that he may be with us as we continue our pilgrimage. Grant us your Spirit, for we are poor in spirit and in soul. Give us your Holy Spirit from on high. Just in our weakness we come to know what strength and victory you bring through the Lord Jesus, our Savior. The Lord Jesus is our Savior for body, soul, and spirit for ever and ever. Amen.
