Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday evening? Mom is doing well. I have had a really nice day today! The weather was sunny and blue skies and the temps were in the upper 40's which was wonderful for this time of year. Tomorrow it will be in the mid 60's but rain all day long. This weekend will be partly sunny and in the 50's. Mom will take it! Mark and I were up early this morning. He started work early with a couple of conference calls and Mom did a few things around the apartment before I got ready. I made coffee, got the pups set, gathered the garbage up, broke down all the boxes, did some housework and then took my shower. We were out the door around 12 noon and boy was the traffic heavy. It was crazy out there! Mark and Mom went to the mall and that was good. The parking was horrible though...ugh and then we went to the grocery store, liqueur store and a couple other places as well before we came home. We have a couple things left to do on Saturday and then we will be all finished up. Mom will be taking the weekend by packing and relaxing for our trip to NH. In 5 days Christmas will be here and gone once again. Mom will be glad to have things all over with. New Years will be in 11 days as well and it will be 2019. 6 years without you, Tyler. It seems so long ago but yet it feels like yesterday. Mom misses you so much my sweet precious son. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. To infinity and beyond. I hope you always feel Mom's love deep within your soul.
It is already 6:39 pm and Mom did things differently tonight. When we got home I put things away and then hopped online to pay the bills and do some online shopping that needed to get done. I did that while dinner was cooking and then we ate, I cleaned up and now I am writing to you while Mark is playing his game with his brothers for a few hours. Mom will go relax in a bit and watch a movie while snuggled up on the couch with the pups. Tomorrow Mark took the day off so that he could run some errands. I was surprised. Mom will take a bit of time to study though before taking a few days off. I did hear back from my instructor and it was a snotty message. Mom was not impressed at all. I will be saying something after the holiday is over with. I waited 2 weeks for a response and I get that kind of message.... uncalled for. I showed Mark and he couldn't believe it either. Anyways... I will be going over that final exam and submitting it tomorrow as well. Busy day ahead but it will be good on a very rainy day!
Mom needs to call Grandpa and Meme tonight so hopefully I will have some new updates for you on tomorrows letter. Nothing to tell today though. Phones have been super quiet. Hopefully Grandpa is feeling better because his cough was nasty the other night. Mom will fill you in when I have some news! I know this letter is kind of short tonight but Mom is tired from the day out and doing all the other things as well. My eyes are heavy and I need to make those calls. I will be back tomorrow though with another letter to you. I will whisper to you later this evening. Mom will smile to you and hopes that you are smiling back to me. Hope you have fun tonight while Mom is sleeping. Come visit me if you can. Mom would really like that. Until tomorrow comes...remember you are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Good night and sweet dreams, Tyler. I love you with all my heart.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is today's prayer:

This is the one about whom it is written: "I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you." Matthew 11:10, NIV
Lord our God, thank you for bringing us into glorious day. Let the rays of your grace, the grace of Jesus Christ, shine into our hearts so that we are truly born of the Spirit and serve you as your children at all times, also when hard days come. Through your might and your revelation pry us loose from all earthly things. Pry us loose from worries and from pleasures. We are your children, O Lord God. We come before you, our Father in heaven, and you will accept us so that we may be a people who prepare the way for you. May all the words you speak be a blessing to us and make us joyful in expectation for the day of Jesus Christ, which has begun in power and glory and will bring power and glory when all is fulfilled according to your merciful and perfect decree. O God, your children entreat you, "Accept us. Hear us. Set the light aflame in our hearts for the coming of your great day!" Amen.
