Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! Today is December 25th and it is Christmas Day! Merry Christmas to you in Heaven. Today is a day for celebrating and it is difficult for Mom because you are not here with us all. I am so sorry I didn’t get a chance to write to you last night but Mom was busy all day long and I was in bed at 9 pm last night because I was so tired. Our travel to NH was one of the best trips for us in a long time. There was no traffic at all and we got here in record time. Under 2.5 hours. We visited with Meme for a bit and then headed to Grandpa’s to visit him, Aunt Shirley and Richard. After those couple of hours we went and grabbed dinner and brought it back to Meme’s. The rest of the night was relaxing and visiting and then bed. Before we went to see Grandpa, Mom stopped to visit you. It was not snowing at all but when I was there it started. I know that you were playing a cute joke on Mom...lol. I laughed. Hope you smiled when you saw your new ornament that I left for you. I told Sam about it so she will be going there to pick it up so that it doesn’t get ruined or stolen. Mom is thankful that she does that for me. She calls it her Ty Box. She misses you so much but not as much as Mom does. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. To infinity and beyond.
 Right now everyone is kind of doing their own thing. Mark is on the phone and calling his side of the family. Meme is getting things set for our dinner, Mom is writing to you and Bob is watching a Disney Christmas special. It’s cute and it reminds Mom of the time we went to Disney at Christmas time. That was 10 years ago. I sure hope you are celebrating today with all our family and friends that are with you on the other side. Please give them all hugs and kisses from Mom. You all are missed and loved so much. Mom is grateful to be with our family here on this day but I will be glad when everything is over with. The holidays are just so tough for me. I do my best to get through everything.  Be patient with me still. Thank you.
 Grandpa and Debbie will be here shortly. We will be having dinner and opening gifts in a bit and then visit and relax and playing poker. Tonight will be relaxing and going to bed early because we are on the road heading back home around 8 am. Mom is hoping that the traffic will be like it was yesterday. We would like to get home at a good time again. Mark needs to relax because he starts that job on Thursday morning. Mom is hoping that your day and evening will be everything that you need and want it to be. Come visit me in my dreams tonight if you can. Mom would love any sign that you send me today. Thank you my sweet precious son. Mom needs to get going for now. I have to help Meme finish things up. Mom will write you a quick letter tonight before I fall asleep tonight. Remember that you are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. You are in my heart, mind, body and soul. Until later pumpkin..... good night and sweet dreams later tonight.
