Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Friday afternoon? Mom has been straight out today! I have been up since 7 am and I have been busy all day long. It is 4:18 pm and Mom is just getting to turn her computer on so that I could write you a letter before feeding the pups and making dinner. The weather here today is everything they said it was going to be. Every hour the rain gets heavier and the wind is wicked right now. 30+ mph and gusts from 50-60 mph until tomorrow. Other places are going to get hit even harder. The temp was 62 degrees though but it did not feel like it. Mom had the balcony door open for a bit today but then the rain was coming onto the balcony sideways so I closed the door because it was coming inside the apartment. Mark took today off which was a wonderful surprise. He did some last minute banking and errands that he needed to do while Mom stayed home and did the housework. I was able to dust, mop and vacuum all the floors plus I did a little bit of rearranging. Later in the afternoon after we had brunch and those dishes were cleaned, Mom and Mark put together a cabinet that goes in the bathroom. That didn't take long to put together but putting it on the wall did. Mom got all that finished and then had to revacuum the floors because of the mess that we had made. Now Mom is finally getting the chance to write to you. I planned on doing some studying but I decided against it. I figured a couple days break would be good. Mom still has the weekend to do some if I really wanted to. Saturday we will be taking the pups for their vet appointment. Princess has a check up and both need to get their nails clipped. That should be fun...NOT! That is int he morning and then in the afternoon, Mom has a nail appointment herself. The rest of the day is kicking back and doing nothing at all. Sunday will be the day that we pack things up in the vehicle so that we don't have to do it Monday. We can get up, get ready and hit the road. We are planning on being in NH by noon so hopefully we will not hit a lot of traffic. Mom's fingers are crossed. Mom did get the chance to chat with Meme last night. She is doing good and is looking forward to vacation until the New Year. She will have 10 days off. She needs that break. Bob is doing good. Mom also spoke to Grandpa. He was saying that he is only working 2 days a week still until he goes to have his knee looked at on the 31st. After that will determine what is next. Debbie is off Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day this year so that is great! Mom is just planning on spending the time while we are there with the 4 of them and that is it. It is the Holiday and Mom and Mark won't be back there for a visit until Spring so it will be a while before we see everyone again. My friends that I have there will have to understand and if not that is their problem and they really are not my friends. There just is not enough time while we are there to see and do all the things that we would like to. I will be spending the time the way I see that is best for us. Mom will be coming to the cemetery to visit you as well. At least there will be no snow, no rain...just cold but dry. I will take it! I will be leaving your ornament there as well. I hope you send me a sign to let me know that you are there with me. I miss you so much. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will always be my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever in my heart, mind, body and soul. Mom is hoping that your evening is filled with everything that you need and want it to be. Hope you can come visit me in my dreams tonight or sit by me so that I can get a good nights sleep. Thank you my sweet precious son. The candle has been lit for you all day today and will continue until I go to bed tonight. I will whisper to you like I always do so be listening for Mom and smile for me and I will smile to you. I will be back tomorrow afternoon at some point to write to you again. The morning will be crazy but the afternoon should be more relaxing. Mom needs to get going as it is after 5 pm and the pups want to be fed...lol. Until tomorrow comes.....good night and sweet dreams.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is today's prayer:

He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain. 2 Peter 1:17–18, NIV
Lord Jesus Christ, to you we may lift our eyes, for you have broken free from our world of death and live in the glory of life, and you offer your life to us on earth. Let the power of your life be revealed today in us and in many others who want to celebrate Christmas. Send your Spirit to move our hearts so that we hear, see, experience, and understand what you and your gift of eternal life truly mean for us. So watch over us in these days and strengthen us in faith. Shed the light of your grace over us and within us. Protect us as your disciples. Lead us into communion with our Father in heaven and into community with you, O Jesus Christ, for all eternity. Amen.
