Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Sunday evening? Mom is doing okay but I am all screwed up on the days because of it being Christmas and New Years. So many days off and all the days and times are running into one another. we were suppose to have a skype call with Tubal and Karen right now but I think we got the wrong Sunday again. Actually Karen just messaged me to say they were out of town and we needed to make it next Sunday instead....lol. We will eventually get to chat. It has been over a month now. We miss them but we understand completely. They must be at the ranch in West Virginia. Mom decided to write you a quick letter seeings how this is the first time on the computer today. Mark and Mom went out and we celebrated our Anniversary finally. We were going to go out to lunch and then do some shopping but when we saw the traffic on the interstate we said that we would change our plans and we would go shopping and then come back home and make dinner. We will go out to eat on New Years Day instead! That was okay by me. Mom went and used her gift cards that she got for Christmas. I got lots of great things. I am pleased with my findings. Mark and Mom had a great time and we laughed a lot which was really nice. We had fun. We left around 11:30 am and got home around 3:30 pm. Mom put everything away while dinner was cooking and then we ate, did the clean up and then got ready for our call. After Mom writes to you we will relax and watch the football game that we missed. Patriots won their game today and so did the Cowboys. They are both in the pay off games for their division. Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. It is the last day of the year. It is hard to believe that we will soon be in 2019 but we will be. It was said earlier that it is the last year in the "teens" too. At least it is for our lifetime. Time is just going by so fast pumpkin. It is another year of missing you more and more every day. I miss you so much. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. To infinity and beyond! Never forget that my sweet precious son. You will forever be my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Always you will be inside my heart, mind, body and soul.
Tomorrow night Mark and Mom are laying low for New Years Eve. We bought stuff to make a nice dinner and dessert. We are also going to make cookies and decorate them plus take a nice hot bubble bath. After that we will get in our jammies and watch the ball drop on tv and then go to bed! It is very low key but that is what we both wanted. It will be fun. Last year we have friends here and had a party with lots of food and booze and Mom was so exhausted after. we don't even talk to those friends anymore. Things have changed so much. Maybe someday it can be different again but Mom is not thinking so and I am not holding my breath either. Anyways.... I will be back tomorrow during the day to write to you again and give you any updates that Mom may have for you. I will light the candle for you tonight in a bit as well. I will whisper to you later as I always do so smile when you hear Mom and I will smile back to you. Have fun tonight while I get some sleep and come visit me if you can. Thank you. Mom is going to go relax now for the evening before bed so until tomorrow comes....good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is today's prayer:
And Mary said: "My soul praises the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me – holy is his name." Luke 1:46–49, NIV
O Lord God, in exultation our hearts go out to you and your revelation of heaven, your revelation of the Spirit, who can fill our hearts so that we remain steadfast throughout our earthly life. It is still dark on earth. Sin and death hold sway, but we stand unafraid and seek repentance. In spite of all our failures we look to you and know you are our Savior. You send us Jesus Christ in your own glory. The world will be filled with light. Everywhere on earth, even among those who do not know you, the sincere-hearted will come to acknowledge that you, the Father of Jesus Christ and our Father, are God over all the world. You will show your glory to all people so that they may come to you, worship you, and walk in the light, to the everlasting glory of your name. Amen.
