Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this 8th day of the new year? It is Tuesday late afternoon and Mom has been very productive today. I have accomplished a lot and I am very proud of myself. I was up at 8:15 am...yes the pups let me sleep in for a change. I got up and fed them and then lounged in bed for about an hour so the pups would get settled down. I got up and I prepped dinner for the night. We are having homemade beef stew and homemade garlic cheese biscuits. I got that all done and did the dishes and then I did a few things around the apartment while Mark was gone for a bit. Finished that up and I then made something to eat and did those dishes and then came right in to get into my website for school. I finally went through and passed in my final exam for one class and I looked over the exam that I worked on last night and then submitted it. mark and Mom had a friendly bet going. He said that I would get an 85 or higher and I said that I was going to fail it big time with a 60. Well....Mark was the winner and he was correct. Mom received an 83~ B+ on the exam. I was never so happy about it but after reviewing it, I did have a couple questions so my grade may stay as an 83 or it could go up to an 87. Either way for the grade it won't change the overall grade...only by 1 point. Instead of an 87 it will be an 88. Mom is okay either way. I have one more exam to do in this course and then it is the final. I should be able to get it all done by Friday or at least the weekend. My next class is an advanced coding class. After that I will have 2 more courses to go and I will be done. Hope these will go by pretty fast. My fingers are crossed.
Last night, Mom did exactly what I said I was going to do. I wrote to you, fed the pups, ate dinner and then worked on my exam until 7:30 pm. Mom then watched a movie while Mark chatted with his brother. We both crawled into bed around 9:30 pm and watched a show and then went to bed. It says that I got about 5.5 hours of restful sleep and 2 hours of light. I believe it. The pups were up at 2 am this morning. One was restless and the other was sick. Not sure what is going on lately but they are both fine today. Ozzy is playing and running around with his toy that he got for his birthday while Princess is in the office laying in her bed. She will not let Mark out of her site. She is a Daddy's Girl all the way. It is super cute and sweet until he leaves and I have to listen to the crying and whining the whole time he is gone. I try to cuddle with her and she wants no part of it. I feel bad but I tell her that he will be back soon. That never works. It has been this way for almost 4 years now. Ozzy is a Mommy's boy.
Today, Mark surprised Mom with a very sweet gift. Well, actually two gifts. One was a cute little Thumper and the other was a set of stable rings that came from the Disney Enchanted Collection from Zales. He chose the rings from Belle~ Beauty and the Beast. They are so beautiful and Mom was so overwhelmed. They were very thoughtful gifts. Mom took some pictures of them. I will post a couple on here so you can see. I know you were smiling down on Mom when I got them. Not much else has been going on though. The weather today was horrible. We woke up to ice and snow and the whole day has been so gray, cloudy and rainy. Up North it had been snowing I guess. There could be a bad storm still coming. Looks like it will miss us and we will get rain again while the North will get some snow. Meme called and said that the weather was crappy there but not as bad as she thought it would be. I just hope she is safe driving home. Mom worries about her because of her "blackouts" that she has. I will call Grandpa tonight to say hello and will reach out to Aunt Beck in the morning as well. Looks like tonight will be a night of having dinner, cleaning up and then relaxing because mark is not feeling well today. He said he feels very tired and blah. Relaxing will be just what he needs. He has 2 very busy days ahead of him...tomorrow and Thursday and Friday I think will be mellow. The following week will be crazy as he has to work all week and then all weekend as well. No days off for 12 days straight. I am hoping he can handle it. The weekend is going to be brutal so I am hoping it is good weather for him to make the drive he has too. Mom is watching the weather closely. Please watch over us my sweet precious son. Mom loves you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will always be my hero and the wind beneath my wings. I have had a candle burning for you all day. Looks like that one will be finished by tonight. Mom will whisper to you later as well so smile for me and I will smile to you. Please know that you are inside my heart, mind, body and soul forever. Have fun tonight while Mom is sleeping and come visit me in my dreams. It has been awhile so you must be pretty busy. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you but for now, Mom needs to finish up the dinner and feed the pups as they are going crazy with smelling the beef stew...lol. Until tomorrow comes...good night and sweet dreams pumpkin. I will love you forever and a day.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer:

he apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.” Luke 17:5–6, NIV
Father in heaven, we thank you for the many ways you strengthen us and reveal your life to us. We thank you for all your protection, also for your protection of our faith and hope. Grant that your Spirit may penetrate us more and more, enabling us to be your witnesses in this evil and unhappy world. May your Spirit give us hope for this life and for the life to come. Amen.
