Hi my sweet precious son! How are you on this Tuesday afternoon? Mom has been up since the *ss crack of dawn because I could not sleep at all. Too much on my mind. I got out of bed at 7:15 am and fed the pups and got them set, made coffee and then lounged in bed for about an hour before I got up, got ready and then got right on the phone. Mom received an email from our realtor early this morning asking if we had any updates. As of last night at 6 pm the documents were never sent over to the title company so we were starting off this morning with no new news which was crappy. Mom got on the phone and spoke with the title company, sent them an email and ended up on the phone with the lender again for over an hour. Mark is in a crabby mood today so I didn't even bother to ask him anything, I just did it myself. He is knee deep in work and he is not a happy person right now and as always, Mom gets the brunt of it all. Anyways.... to make a very long story short....after Mom called the lender the documents were finally sent over to the title company at 12 noon and we are indeed signing papers today at 2 pm. The house will officially be ours and all this work will be worth it! Mom will be glad so that now I can shift my energy and focus on the things that I need to do to make this move run as smooth as possible.
Mom wanted to write to you now because in 1 hour we will be signing papers and then I need to drive Mark over to the store so that he can pick up his meds. The traffic will be a freakin zoo at that point so Mom will be getting back right around the time to make dinner. After that I will be relaxing for the night. I think I will have dinner, dessert and then a glass of wine. I think it will be an early night as well. I really need to get some sleep. My eyes are heavy now but if I nap I will not get a lot of sleep tonight. I will be okay so no worrying. I will be snuggled in bed and sleeping by 9:30 pm...lol.
Mom spoke to Grandpa last night. I wished him a Happy Birthday. He was telling me that he spent his day at the auto shop getting brake shoes, brake pads, shocks, struts, etc... changed on his truck. He was going there to get the truck inspected and left 3.5 hours later and a couple thousand dollar bill....yikes! That was not a good birthday present. All in all he was doing good. He had his favorite meal last night....spaghetti and meatballs and then had a slice of chocolate cake for dessert. He sounded cheerful so that was a good thing! I also spoke to Meme as well. She is really starting to get stressed out with the move coming up so quickly. I am trying to help her out but I don't think it is working all that well. I think she just needs to do it in her own way and her own time. Oh yeah, on Saturday the 7th, Mom forgot to tell you that Charlie's ex GF, Sherrie...you remember her.... Ben and Ian's Mom, she got married and so did Ramon again. Yup that is right...he got married for the 4th time. Mom has nothing to say about it so I will just keep my mouth shut. Megan posted pictures of it. That is how I know. It was also Marion's birthday that day as well. I haven't spoken to Aunt Beck yet but I will try this week. I am on the phones all day so it is tough but I will get to it. I will update you as I have any new news.
Mom will be lighting a new candle for you when I get back this afternoon. I needed to start a new one because the other one was not burning right. I will whisper to you later tonight. Smile for me and I will smile for you. I miss you beyond words, Tyler. You will always be my sweet precious son, my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live in my heart, mind, body and soul. Mom loves you to the moon and back and all the way around the world and beyond all the stars in the sky. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. For now though, I have to get going and get ready to go sign some very important papers. Have fun tonight while I sleep. Maybe you could come visit me in my dreams? Until tomorrow comes....good night and sweet dreams later this evening.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105, NIV
Lord our God, we stand before your presence. Look in mercy upon us poor, weak children, who do not know where to turn unless you help us with your mighty hand. We trust in you. You will help us, you will always be with us, and even in hard times you will accomplish your will for what is good. Bless us today as we gather to hear your Word. May your Word always be our strength and joy. Your Word gives victory in us and in the whole world so that your will may be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.
