Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday morning? Mom has been up since 6 am. I got the pups fed and then I lounged in bed for a bit before getting up, getting ready, making the bed and vacuuming the floors. I was done all that by 9:30 am. I wanted to be ready for when this lady either calls us or emails us to say that we need to be somewhere at a certain time or that someone was coming to us at a certain time. So far nothing. It is 10:46 am. I did email our realtor and she said that she sent the woman an email and she will get back to us sometime today. This is not what we wanted to hear. The next step in the process is that we sign the papers on the house and then that packet gets over nighted to the sellers that just happen to live in London, England. The longer it takes us to get these papers signed, the less likely they will get it in time. The time difference is 6 hours so it is already 4:50 pm there. Mom will keep you posted as to what is going on.
I wanted to write to you now because I have a feeling that the rest of the day is going to be crazy. I didn't want to take a chance and then be exhausted from the day and not write. The skies are blue and the sun is shining. The temp today is only going to be 70 degrees but that won't happen for another couple hours. The leaves are really starting to turn. Mom noticed that yesterday when we were out. Fall will be officially here in another week. Today is Grandpa's Birthday! I hope you send him a sign to let him know that you are near him. I just tried to call him and he is at the garage getting his vehicle inspected and new brakes so I guess I will have to chat with him tonight. Mom had to take about a 3 hour break from writing to you because Auntie Kristina called me and she was crying. I talked to her for about 2 hours and then there was another escalation with the house again so Mom had to deal with that too. It is now going on 2 pm. What a mess.... guess nothing is going to take place with the closing until tomorrow afternoon. We have someone coming to us at 2 pm. Mom got up and got ready early for nothing today...oh well. Least I got things done so I didn't have to do them later. I think Mom is going to relax for a bit before making dinner tonight and feeding the pups. I am waiting on the realtor to contact me as she is driving to the house now and will be face timing me in a few minutes. I have your candle already burning but I think I will have to switch out the candles as this one does not seem to be burning right. The wick is kind of funny. I will let it go for today and toss it out tomorrow and start a new one for you. The stash is getting smaller. Not many left that is for sure and that was the plan. Looks like this week I will start tackling the garage. I want to get that done sooner rather than later. Mark has a doctor's appointment Thursday morning too. Guess it is going to be another busy week here. We are down to 34 days before the move. This week will on Sunday it will be 1 month from the move date. It is going by so fast. We still have a bunch of stuff to do and again it is all on Mom so I must work at it a little at a time. Mom will whisper to you later this evening. I hope you smile when you hear my voice and I will be sure to smile to you my sweet precious son. I miss you like crazy and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you so until then....have fun tonight while I get some much needed sleep and hopefully you will visit me in my dreams tonight if you can! Good night and sweet dreams later, pumpkin.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Ephesians 6:10–11, NIV
Lord God, we thank you that it is your will to strengthen us through your presence, through Jesus Christ, the leader of your cause, who is and remains victor among all on earth. Our souls need strength and our hearts need confidence so that in our time we can draw near to you and to your kingdom. Bless us with the Holy Spirit whenever we begin to grow weary. Your Holy Spirit can give us the strength to believe and hope, the strength to see the salvation that is coming to give joy to all the world. Amen.
