Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Friday evening? Mom is exhausted but I am doing alright. It is after 9 pm so it is really late for me to be writing but today was a weird day. It started the same time as always with feeding the pups and taking them for their walk. Mark headed upstairs shortly after and so did Mom. I folded clothes, made the bed and then took a shower and got ready. After that, Mom and Mark went to the post office and then to the grocery store. We got home around 11:30 am. We had lunch and then Mom went to her office. Meme and Bob were gone. They had eye appointments this afternoon. They were gone for some time so Mom called to make sure they were alright. Meme told me that when she was outside, she took Rocky for a walk. Bob was inside for his appointment. I guess she didn’t see Rocky cross in front of her as she was watching a car and she fell face first on the ground. Her glasses are all scratched up. Her nose is very swollen. She is lucky that she didn’t break her nose. She is going to have one helluva bruise. She was lucky! Both her and Rocky are okay. Their appointments went well though. That was a good thing! Mom spent the afternoon sending emails out and doing the shopping that was needed. Mark had a pretty relaxing afternoon. He spent the day on the phone talking to his brother. We called it a day at 5:30 pm to go feed the pups and start our dinner. We got done that at 7 pm. The rest of the night was choosing a bookshelf for downstairs. Mark and Mom actually made the choice together which was amazing. We never do that. It should be here next week. Mom is going to put her Fenton glass and some of her Disney stuff on the shelving. When it comes in and is done, I will take a picture and post it on here for you. Now, Mom is watching a show while Mark is doing his own thing. We are having a thunderstorm... go figure. This weekend will be raining all day again. It will be nice to have no rain. 4 months straight every day is enough for me. I am tired of it... ugh! I guess there is another tropical storm that is headed our way. We will know more in the next few days. I will keep you posted on that as well.
Today is August 14th. It is 2 years since Grammy left this world and joined you in a Heaven. I know she is happy where she is, just like you. Please give her a hug and kiss from Mom. She is missed by us all. You are missed by us all to. Time is just flying by for us here. I know that there is no concept of time for you. It is years and years for us and to you it is just minutes. I wanted to call a Grandpa to say hello but him and Debbie were going out. I told them I would call over the weekend. He goes on Monday to have his leg looked at. Mom is praying that it is something simple. They are 40 days out to be coming here for a visit. I hope they will still be coming. I need to see Grandpa. I miss him so much.
This weekend will be mellow. Not much outside the home due to the rain. Mom has a few things she needs to do and then it will be a movie marathon again for us here. Monday, Mark will be having his 2nd interview. We are hoping and praying that it goes well and a job offer is right behind it! He needs this. We need this! Please watch over us. Keep us safe and healthy. Thank you my sweet precious son! Mom misses you. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. You live in my heart, mind, body and soul. I had a candle burning all day for you. Hope you saw it! I will whisper to you later tonight before I go to bed. Have fun while I sleep. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. Mom usually takes the weekends off from writing but because of the weather coming, I will write to you! I am going to go relax for a bit as it is almost 10 pm. Until tomorrow comes... good night and sweet dreams.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo 🤍
