Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? Mom is doing alright now but earlier I was pretty angry. I am sorry that I haven't written to you in a couple days but things as I am sure you have seen are pretty crazy around here. I will explain to you what has been going on....
Tuesday~ Mom had words with our home warranty company on Monday afternoon and again Tuesday morning. They finally realized that I was not playing around or joking so they rescheduled a new company to come out to look at the issue. That new date was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. The rest of the day time on Tuesday was spent on the phone, emailing people and then before I knew it, it was time to feed the pups and make dinner. Mom and Mark's evening was relaxing and going to bed early.
Wednesday~ AC guys were suppose to be here in the morning...they were a no show. That was rescheduled for today in the morning. The new electrician got here at 1 pm. Mark stayed downstairs while Mom was upstairs with the pups. 5 pm came and he was still here. We had to feed the pups while they were in their harnesses so that they didn't get loose. That was fun...not! Mom made dinner, ate dinner and cleaned up while doing the same thing. The electrician said he located the problem, fixed it but would have to come back this morning to finish what he started in the bathroom downstairs. He left at 7 pm. About 10 minutes after he left, the emergency lights came on and something yet again tripped the circuit. I called to let them know and they said they would be out this morning...Thursday. Mark and Mom called it an early night. I slept for crap last night. I had a glass of wine that instead of making me tired, it made me wide awake. I was up every hour on the hour. I finally got up at 6:30 am and started doing the morning routine for the pups.
Thursday...today~ Dogs fed, walked and back inside. Mom did a couple of things in her office. I had to get a box together to bring to the post office and then I needed to print a few things for the weekend. I got done that and took a shower and got ready. I asked Meme if she wanted to go and she said yes. I waited for her for like 20 minutes for her to tell me that she changed her mind. Mom went to the post office and then needed to get gas. Got to the gas station and there were about 15 cars. I waited about 10-15 minutes to get to the pump. I went inside and paid for mine and proceeding to start pumping. I asked what the heck was going on. I guess there was a hack in the pipeline and people are freaking out that there will be a gas shortage so everyone under the sun are trying to fill their tank up. The pump kept shutting off at every $.35 cents and I would have to push a button to get the cashier inside to restart it again. It took Mom 2 hours to pump $5.00 worth of gas. The cars were lined up like crazy. Everyone is trying all at the same time so the pumps are running at a stand still pace. It was crazy. I went to the grocery store after and then home. I walked inside and Meme was sitting there, knitting...just like she always is...there is so much to do in this house but she refuses to help Mom out. She sleeps, sits and knits all day long and it is pissing me off! Anyways....I was told that no one had been here yet...electrician or AC guys. I got right on the phone and called the companies. The AC guys were suppose to be here this morning and then it was switched to 1 pm...it is 2:20 pm and still no one has come. Electricians were supposed to be here this morning. Now the appointment is between 1 - 4pm today. Mom is tired, ugly and I wanted this to be a down day because the next 3 are going to be so busy for us...that is not happening. Looks like it will be a day like yesterday again. They all will be here until God knows how long. At 8 pm though I will tell them that they need to leave and come back either Friday or Monday. This is enough. No one knows what is going on with the electric. Mom is praying that they find the problem today and it gets fixed for good and the right way. The AC units just needs some tweaking and that is it. That won't take long at all to do if they ever get here to do the work.
So that is what has been going on the last 3 days here. It is a cluster...well you know...Mark and Mom are tired and we just want the stuff fixed. Stay tuned for what is to come with this. Mom and Mark are leaving early in the morning. We will feed the pups, walk them and then come upstairs to get ready and out the door we go. We are meeting our friends at 10 am at the hotel where they are staying and then we are off to start our fun for 3 days!!!! Mom will not be able to write to you for the next 2 -3 days while we are gone. I will try to write on Sunday but it probably will be Monday. I will be able to tell you how it all went and share some pics on here with you. I hope that especially on Saturday...Mom's Bday, you will be sending me signs that I know you are around. That would mean so much to me. The weather is supposed to be cooler as well...low 80's some wind and cloudy and sunny. Perfect and we will take it! Please keep it that way for us. This will make things easier for Mom. Thank you my sweet precious son.
Mom will light the candle this evening and whisper to you before I fall asleep. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. I am going to end this letter to you as I am not sure when everyone will be getting here and when they do they will be cutting off the power so they can fix whatever they need to. Please know that I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live in my heart, mind, body and soul. Please continue to watch over us and keep us safe and healthy. Be with Mom over the next 3 days so that I can have fun and just forget about all these issues and problems for a change. Thanks pumpkin. I will write to you again in a couple of days but know that I am thinking of you and talking about you every step of the way. Until Sunday or Monday....good night and sweet dreams later tonight and for the next few nights. I miss you more than words can say.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah 💚
