Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? Mom is so sorry that the last 2 days I have not been able to write to you but it has been worse than crazy... let me explain...

Tuesday~ Mom was up early and I had to run errands in the morning and then be back home for 12 noon so that they guys could come by to see what is going on with our no power in the front of the house. They arrived at 12:15 pm and never left until almost 4 pm. Mom fed the pups early and then made dinner for us. We got no answers to what is going on with the no power. These guys did so much and they were stumped as to what is going on. They told Mom that we need to have an electrician come and access the situation. We still didn't have any AC upstairs at all and it was brutally hot out and also upstairs. We had dinner and then decided to go upstairs, brave the warmth and just watch a bit of tv before trying to get some sleep...that didn't happen. At around 10 pm, it was so warm...90 degrees upstairs that we had to move downstairs so that the pups could cool off as they were having trouble breathing. mark and Mom slept on the couch with them. I think we got about 3 hours of sleep.

Wednesday~ Mom and Mark were up early as Meme came downstairs at 4 am and woke us up. She knew we were down there and instead of going back upstairs, she stayed downstairs and made a bunch of noise. We got up at 7 am and fed the pups and she went upstairs. Mom was not happy at all. I was so p*ssed actually! Anyways... Mom had to go upstairs and get ready because I had a hair appointment that morning. I went and got home around 12:30 pm. At 2 pm...the AC guy got here to access the issues with what was going on. We were told that everything that we paid for last year was junk and they were never new parts. We had a 100% leak in the coil. It would take 3 weeks to order the part and then it would be like a "bandaid" and not sure how long it would be before we would need a new one. There was nothing really he could do to help us out except tell us we needed 2 brand new units. That is not what we wanted to hear but we were glad someone told us the truth this time. Only took 8 times for someone to do that...ugh! So to make a long story short...2 brand new units are $15,000.00 for the units and the labor. OUCH! Thank god they were financeable or we wouldn't have been able to do it and we would be with no AC. Oh and during all this.... we had the 1 800 Got Junk guys here for a 3rd trip of stuff to be hauled away and right before that happened....Mom went outside with the AC guy to show him the unit and Mom tripped and fell right on the pavement. I went down hard on my right side. After that took place, I was pretty much out of commission. Mom was in such pain. Each hour it got worse and last night was tough as I could not get comfortable at all. We also got new renters next door and they were really loud so that made it tough too. I think Mom got maybe 5 hours of sleep if I was lucky. I spoke to Grandpa as well...they are good. He is getting the roof and skirting done in 2 weeks and he is happy about that! I will call them on Sunday.

Thursday~ Mom and Mark were up at the usual time. we got the pups fed and walked and then right upstairs to get ready. We were having the AC guys here anywhere between 8 am -11 am. They arrived at 12:15 pm. They are still here. Mom has been in her office with the pups all day with the door closed. It is 4:35 pm now. I really hope they will be finished soon as the pups are needing to be fed and walked again. We are having a quick dinner tonight. Mom is making pizza. That won't take long at all. I did a lot of things while having to be in my office. I sent emails out, made calls and I got to paint my nails too...lol. Now I am writing to you and then I will be getting off the computer for the night. Mom is in a ton of pain but I am playing it off really well. Second day is always the worse so I am hoping it gets better tomorrow. I know I really hurt my hand and my 3 fingers. My leg is hurting pretty bad as well but it is all internal and nothing on the outside. I am ok walking slow but when I sit for a long time it is tough to get moving. My leg and ankle is swollen too...Mom does it good huh? I am hoping for a really good night sleep in the cool air tonight. I hope the renters are quiet or at least stop at a descent time. Fingers crossed on that. Mom thinks she heard that the AC guys will be here for another 3 hours to finish the work...holy moly...that is almost 8 hours. Bless their hearts. 

Tomorrow is Friday and after the week we have had it will be nice to hopefully have some quiet time. I know the pool guy is coming to tell us what is going on with the pool and what needs to be done. Hopefully it is a filter issue and not a pump issue. Mom will let you know. Monday the electrician will be coming to check out the power issue. He will be here between 7 -9 am. Dang that is super early...but it needs to be looked at. Hopefully that will be an easy fix and not anything out of our pocket for money. Mom is going to be praying hard for these things. We have taken so many hard hits already. We just need some good luck now. We are staying positive though and not fretting at the things we can't control. If you can help us, pumpkin, we would gladly accept it. Thank you.

It is after 5 pm now and Mom needs to get going. I hear the guys upstairs still working but I have to get the pups taken care of and get dinner in the oven for us. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. Have fun while I rest tonight. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. I would love that my sweet precious son. I miss you more than words can say and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will forever be my hero and then wind beneath my wings.
