Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Friday afternoon? It is 3 pm and it is sunny and super hot outside! We finally after 5 pm last night have AC that is working. The guys were here from 12 noon until about 5:30 pm. They were incredible though. Bless their hearts for having to do such long labor and work! 

Today, Mom was up late. I slept until 8 am. I couldn't believe it. I was up at 2 am cleaning up after Princess as she was sick. We all slept in though. It felt good but it really screwed up my entire day. The pups were fed and walked and then mark had to hop on a work call. Mom lounged in bed for awhile this morning to help with my leg. I got up at 10 am and made the bed and got ready. I did laundry as well. I made calls and sent emails out to those I needed to and that is about it for what I have done. I have been elevating my leg all day. It is really hurting today. I always thought day 2 was the worst but they say day 3 is so we shall see. Mom won't be doing much of anything the rest of the day and night. The weekend will be very low key as well. I have to rest up so that next week I am able to do everything with no issues. 

In just 8 days, Mom will be 50 years young! I have a couple traveling from Georgia to come see me and celebrate this big milestone. They arrive on Thursday, May 13th and I will be seeing them on Friday, Saturday and Sunday next weekend. We are doing the whole Disney thing. Going to the theme parks and park hopping, eating lots of junk food, riding rides and just being goofy adults. Mom even gets a Happy Birthday Button! That should be fun! I will be writing to you on Thursday but the chances of writing to you over the long weekend may be slim. We are starting our days at 8 am and ending them at 10 pm or later. Mom will do her best. If I don't write to you then I will write something on your facebook page. I know I will be talking about you all weekend. Mom is going to be doing things that we never could and I will be doing them for you and honoring you every day. I am sure to have many meltdowns along the way as well and I will allow myself that to. It is a way of healing and I know you will understand. 

Pool guy came today and we do not need a new pump but we do need a new filter and o ring. Those are pricey but not as pricey as a pump! We are okay with what we have to do! Monday will be the next big thing as to what is going on with the electric. We are praying it is nothing major and it will be an easy fix. If you can help us that would be amazing, Ty! Thank you my sweet precious son!  

Mark is going to put together his lift kit tonight after dinner. Mom will be in the living room with her leg up, either watching tv or playing my game...the pups will be with me as well so they should be sleeping...lol. Not much for the weekend though. Saturday, we have errands to run and then relax the rest of the day. Sunday is a tough day for me...It is Mother's Day and it will be the 9th one without you. Mom sent flowers to Meme, Debbie and Karen already. I will call them to wish them a nice day and then I want to forget about it all and just wish the day away. I miss you. We spent that day together every year. I miss our time. I miss everything. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live in my heart, mind, body and soul. You will always stay there, please know this and feel it deep within your soul. 

I will be back over the weekend to write to you. It is after 3:30 pm and Mom needs to order the pool stuff so it comes in on time for the guys next week. I will light the candle warmer tonight and whisper to you before I fall asleep. Smile to Mom and I will give you a smile back. Have fun while I rest. Come visit me in my dreams if you can.
